In your comment on your game I saw that you didn’t know how to make a game that can save? You have to add the following:

savefile = SharedObject.getLocal(“yourgamename”);

savefile.data.level = _root.Level;

savefile.flush ();

And that will save it. Then to load it you do the opposite. Declare the savefile variable in the same way, but assign the _root.Level to the savefile.data.level.

This game is so freakin awesome. Keeping everything in excel window gives it a good vibe. And the movements of the cursor is smooth which i think doubles up the joy! Game progresses nicely. Thank for your work, i personally enjoyed it.

’...Does that make Orbox less fun? ;-)’
Never said I liked Orbox in the first place :) Anyway, I’m starting to come round to your way of thinking, your game isn’t ‘Bad’ such as many other games I give 1’s are, but I think that there is nothing new in it, and with my vote of 1, I am evening out to a 2.5 with anyone who voted 5 if you catch my slightly twisted logic! Actually, I know that this sounds a bit stupid, but if it had a lower rating in the first place, my vote would have been 2 or 3!

It is nice that there is no text. However, I did have some problems understanding the icons. If you want to pull off something like that, I'd suggest A LOT of user testing. Oh and the music is really annoying and doesn't fit well to the rest. I'd rather have no music and just good sound effects. And as somebody said already: the gameplay is a bit random. Sometimes you loose, sometimes you win. Hard to figure out what you did right or wrong. Anyway, I applaud for the very bold and avant-garde approach. I think it does provide some valueable lessons.

Nice presentation and certainly original! However, I dislike the click-less interface. I saw http://dontclick.it/ and it didn't convince me even then. Your games demonstrates pretty much the shortcomings of that scheme. It eliminates a lot of tatical feedback. The shooting (and selecting things) feels less "juicy". You made it even worse by removing sound effects. By doing so, you've successfully eliminated 2 out of 3 senses people can use when they interact with computers. So now the game relies entirely on visual feedback and it feels a bit hollow even though the visuals are good.

Nice game! I like the Idea that you can't leave the Level! Although similar it is to Excit, I wouldn't consider that a problem. Excit was similar to Orbox and Roadblocks, after all. ;-)
