About me

I'm currently working on MARDEK 3! It's coming along nicely, but it's rather large so it'll probably take a couple of months to finish (at the very least). Also, thank you to all the supporters and fans; you make my efforts worthwhile! --------------------------------------------------------- On a rantier note... so many people here are maddeningly frustrating! I know I shouldn't let things bother me, but I've never been the type to just be apathetic and allow things to go uncommented on... So many people seem to think that it's perfectly okay to just leave simple, insulting comments that do nothing other than show that they hate the game. How is this supposed to help the developer in any way? Are they even interested in helping the developer? Do they even realise that games are made by a fellow human being with feelings, who READS their inane comments? If you don't like a game, leaving a petty insult and giving it a score of 1 is absolutely ridiculous. Instead, you should either try to find something that you DO like and stop playing games that you don't, or try to leave a comment including constructive critcism that can help the developer improve their games. If you have nothing constructive to say, don't bother saying anything at all. Also, when commenting, imagine how you'd feel if you were the maker of a game, and you were receiving a comment just like the one you're writing. Would YOU appreciate a comment like that? Perhaps this will make you reconsider your wording. And you should always rate a game on the quality of its production, rather than how much you personally like the genre. If there's a game that you don't much care for personally, but it seems to be well-made for its genre, then you should rate it highly anyway, I think, just to acknowledge the effort that's gone into making the game if nothing else. That's what I do, at least. I know ranting about this won't change those who already comment mindlessly and offensively, but at least ranting about it here makes me slightly less irritated! o_O Though this is certainly barely legible, because the complete lack of formatting will surely ignore all my line breaks. Bah. I would appreciate it if Kongregate would use better formatting for text such as this! Or any formatting at all! It's such a simple request!
