In the map editor, you should have clear indicators as to which tiles can be built on and which tiles cannot. Right now, it's basically judgement on the player's part. perhaps you should give them an option to make them either buildable or not. Perhaps you should just make all the grids the size of the tower grid (1/4 the size of your tiles now.) The capacity to add scenery would also make the maps a lot better, because there are already tiles with rocks, but they really look like they're repeating. Now onto more complex things. If you want to make this game really memorable and fantastic, I'd recommend you create a 'mass change' function for towers and enemies. I don't want to have to go in and change the towers each one by one when I find out that all my towers should cost 1$ less. And for that matter, add a way to select which tower you're deleting. If you don't know how to code it, you'd use the .splice(). Look it up, it's invaluable.

good concept, but the execution requires a lot more polish. Maps should be bigger, the 'back' button from most menus should be renamed to 'save' and exit (and there should also be a 'undo changes' button on those screens, too. Some of the characters seem to be a little... well, blocky, particularly some of the towers. Flash has a center button so that you can put everything in exactly the same, 0,0 position and make thing look just that much more polished. Also, remove the hard limits on all the values. Having a maximum of 20 waves, and a maximum of 200 attack power, and a maximum of 150 range is archaic. You shouldn't have to worry about the maximum's until you're playing the map (and why are there no limits on upgrade paths, but just on raw tower stats?). *hoy*

key repeat for the win! also, you only recognize one key at a time - look for a way to check both. If you hold down both a and l, you should go nowhere.
