Hi , I’m the devils shadow also known as a vampire .

The different forms for Round Robins

Round Robin Story – This is an ongoing story where different people add chapters .

Round Robin Adventures – You set a story to challenge other people abilities to escape the situation you put the main character in and the next person then overcomes that dire situation and then puts the character back into a deadly scene that the next person must face.

Round Robin Poems – Instead of adding chapters to a story people add lines or paragraphs to a poem.

Round Robin Limericks – The same as ‘Round Robin Poem’ except people only add one line to the limerick.

The different rules for Round Robin

Round Robin (Anarchy)- This a free-for-all story where anybody can add to the story multiple times, where it finally ends up is anybody’s guess.

Round Robin (One turn) – This is a story where different people add chapters to a story but never the same person twice.

Round Robin (open cast) – This is the same as the Round Robin (One turn) except the same person can add more than one chapter to the same story.

Round Robin (closed cast) – This is the same as the Round Robin (One turn) except you take a set amount of volunteers to do different chapters in a Round Robin Adventure,
if you want six people to partake in the story, then there are 6 chapters and each person is given their chapter based on when they signed up , second person to sign up does the second chapter and the sixth person does the last chapter.

What a Limerick is

OK, for anyone who doesn’t know what a limerick is (pronounced lim’rick) , it is a folk/witty/humorus poem.

Limericks consist of five anapaestic lines.
Lines 1, 2, and 5 of Limericks have seven to ten syllables and rhyme with one another.
Lines 3 and 4 of Limericks have five to seven syllables and also rhyme with each other.

So the limerick has a ryming pattern of,

A – First line.
A – Second line.
B – Third line.
B – Fourth line.
A – Fifth line.

Example

There once was a man from Healy,
Who spoke to his wife in Swahili,
but she could only speak,
Dutch, English and Greek,
so he could swear at her freely.

The un-official Off-Topic Limerick

There once was a forum for fools,
where everyone acted like tools,
they were want to forget,
their words they’d regret,
when it came to breaking Kong’s rules.
