Relationships Between Personality Styles
If you carefully read through that huge wall of text, you saw that drivers and amiables are opposites, and expressives and analyticals are opposites. Drivers and amiables don’t always go so well together, nor do expressives and analyticals.
Drivers get along with expressives, as they both value their extroversion/independence, and get along in that sense.
Drivers get along with analyticals, as they both like to get things done, and so get along in that sense.
Drivers love efficiency, but the amiables are more concerned about building relationships. Amiables also tend to procrastinate, which annoys drivers. They don’t get along.
Expressives will use amiables as audiences, as they love to perform. The amiable doesn’t necessarily have to think anything is funny, just nod their head smiling. They get along.
Amiables are seen as tolerable by analyticals, and amiables are compassionate enough to enjoy the analytical’s company. They get along.
Expressives greatly annoy analytical, and think that things that the analytical might do are dumb. Analyticals get annoyed by the expressive’s loud, outgoing, invasive personality, as it disturbs their personal bubble.
Expressives generally have the most friends.
Analyticals generally have the least friends.
Drivers are most likely to marry an analytical, and are least likely to marry an amiable.
Expressives are most likely to marry an amiable, and are least likely to marry an analytical.
Amiables are most likely to marry an expressive, and are least likely to marry a driver.
Analyticals are most likely to marry a driver, and are least likely to marry an expressive.
You’re second-to-least likely to marry your own personality style due to balance issues. You’re least likely to marry your opposite personality style due to tension issues.
