About me

I’ve been programming games off and on since the early 1980s, and playing them since the late 1970s. Currently my tool of choice is Flash 10. When I am not here I can be found on GameDev.net (as “Tesseract”). I have been programming in Flash since about 2002, and try to help others with technical questions as often as I can.

I have left a comment on your tutorial. Sorry, but I only have been trying to program with a glitchy computer for a month now… Hopefully I will get it soon ;D

I’ve been looking at your website; it’s very cool. I realize you’re mostly doing stuff with Perlin noise at this moment, but had you thought of trying Langton’s ants where the terrain contour is determined by the blurry trails they leave? That’s where my train of thought goes.
