Hello! My name is Lonnie Townsend and I have lived in Evansville all my life. I am an aspiring college student at Ivy Tech. My goal is to achieve an associate’s degree in information technology. I attend Hope of Nations, which is a nondenominational church focused around truths of the bible.

One of the things I enjoy to do most is read science fiction, fantasy, and suspense. My favorite authors are Dean Koonts, Frank Peretti, and Ted Dekker. My favorite sites to read on are Fanfiction.net and FiMfiction.net. My favorite television shows are Warehouse 13, Mad, Fringe, Grim, Scare Tactics, X files and My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. I am also an avid gamer, my favorite games are the bio-shock series, World of Warcraft, and the fallout series among many others. On WoW I mainly play Horde, but I have several Alliance characters. I am always looking for more people to play together with! My gaming systems are a PlayStation 2, 3, Computer, and Wii, and my Steam Account. I like listening to music and I am a massive fan of dub step, classic rock and Christian music, particularly Mercy Me, and my favorite classic rock band is Metallica. I would like to tell you how I became a “Brony”. I was getting on Game-informer and I was seeing users with MlP as their profile pictures and fan art on their profiles, at the time I became increasingly convinced it was some kind of joke. I saw a blog on Game Informer called “How I became a Brony” by Mray901. He explained why he liked the show and showed many of the reasons why the show is worthwhile. I thought I should give the show a view and research the fandom before
I would judge it. When I first started watching I wondered whether I was wasting my time. After I watched the first two episodes I found myself having a good time watching the show. I can say without any hesitation that MlPFiM is the best cartoon I have watched in a long time. With great episodes and well thought out characters. I will be hard pressed to find a better cartoon.
