Jeran, if you click on the little "?" button next to the upgrade, you can see the changes. However, it DOES lack an encyclopedia option that tells you what those things do (I still don't understand "radiance")
FYI, Jacks seem to last through prestiges (at least until you pull one again), so they are more helpful than first appear, especially if you are treating this as an idle game.
Finally got the hard badge. Did a max defense/leadership shielded tough guy, a max stealth/one-hand dagger with heal dex type, and an earth/fire mage (with just fireball as his attack, along with both elementals).
To everyone having troubles with missing cities: they appear after a set number of turns. Just build up your envoys or generals to be able to turn the city as soon as it appears.
My strategy (got 800+ with bad RNG at the start): First make trees then lumberjacks (upgrade or do 2 of them). Then make 1 or 2 gatherers (do NOT upgrade them at the start, else they might go to the lake to get 2 and take too long). Once you have done the 20 g versions, then upgrade house. At this point, you will likely be low on fish, so make the 20/20 fishermen and work towards the first 50 on environment. Once you get things set, focus almost entirely on the house/environment. NEVER call the waves early and wait until each wave occurs to level up your dragon. You should not need more than 3 fishermen and 5 gatherers (lumberjacks and trees can be higher) if you are upgrading correctly. Near the end (around house level 7 or 8), just focus 100% on environment for the final push.
Firebolt is also possible with the "Mission Impossible". The key is to keep moving slowly up or slowly down. If getting close to the edge, then look for an opening to quickly whip through. Also, if you go fast enough, there is about a 50% chance the lasers won't hit you. Save overdrive in case you get cornered. This one is WAY easier with maxed offense (like I had) as you will have to face it basically head on (as opposed to Earthwall).
BTW, my "Mission Impossible" challenge (extreme mode, only shields for 1 laser) IS actually possible for Earthwall. The trick there I found was to use bombs and be more right when it is below you and then just skillfully dodge when it moves close to the top. Having strong offense/agility helps (ironically I did it with 0 agility boost (so bombs were min damage), so it is possible even without those boosts).
If anyone wants ridiculous amounts of money, take insurance with max health mods & moolah mods (doesn't even matter if you have a defense build; my build is 0% defense). I am making about 10x the amount I make from the bosses in insurance (and I am doing NG+ every time I reach Iblis, so I have max boss drops too).
If anyone else gets super-annoyed at enemies spawning on top of them while in the sweet spot for the drone, use charge as that will kill them before they hit you if at a decent level/charge.
Quick update: Now there are hotkeys (thanks Barragor for the idea) and I fixed an inventory bug (thanks Markku). I also added in that if you double-click on an equipment while there is an open slot, it will automatically equip.
Personal favorite strategy (only use if you want a challenge): 50% Offense, 100% Intel/Luck. No mods in any defense/shield/regen (so basically any attack will hurt or kill you); instead, max out exp/moola. Very fast leveling & money gain, and it turns the game into more of a "bullet hell" experience. May need some shields/HP for bosses though ;)
Final update to my Mission Impossible challenge (Extreme mode, Only shields for 1 laser, no regen mods): Finally beat all normal levels doing it. I have cheated each time for the boss levels. Hardest level by far was world 3 Ancient Ruins (Monolith). The sheer amount of lasers, along with the sword made that one a total pain to beat with only hitting one laser (unless shields had reset). To anyone who goes after the true bosses with this setup, GOOD LUCK! :D
Speed X Fixed :)
