i pretty much stayed along the bottom for the first 5 levels, only moving from there when the ufo gets the lazer beam.
dont get every life, unless your a zen-like reflex master some you will get then die straight away.
i finished with 2 lives, and probabily only collected 12-16 or so lives (i wasnt actually counting)
