This is a great game. There are so many unique and hidden interactions. I have so many ideas for improvements too. I think magic cities shouldn't be so restricted and should also be able to be upgraded to lvl 2 to count as cities for the great city of cities, and maybe also produce tech. There should be a great magic city as well. Also, the stone circle ought to provide magic boosts, and the water tower ought to have a lvl 2. I really liked the lvl 0 forest, and I think that there should be more upgrades which change base tile types, and maybe something which lets you revert upgrades so that you can rearrange unique tiles after you win. It's a great concept, it deserves to be expanded on, maybe even with a sequel.
hey dev, you forgot to put collision on the back wall of the train station. After you get the ticket, you can walk all over the walls and even go behind the counter.
Showing if people have stolen or not makes the game nearly trivial. 99% of the time, you just split against good people and steal against thieves, and if you don't, you just lose. There isn't actually any benefit in stealing until tier 15, because if you do then you're guaranteed not to make it past the next round. Imo, instead of being able to see what your opponent did against their last opponent, you should play multiple rounds with each opponent, with no info about your opponent beforehand. Also, the number of rounds should be randomized. Also, there should be more things to buy with coins than just cosmetics. Finally, there's a bug where if two players play each other then re-queue immediately, then they will almost always get paired against each other again.
Hey! Thanks a million for all the feedback - it really helps! So, the casual game mode at the moment is mostly meant to give a strong edge towards people who are splitting, but some strategies do exist for working around that. As you said, all bets are off at tier 15 - but similarly, what about tier 14? Most people assume you're going to split to get to 15.. making stealing a very viable option there. We've also had players manage to do a full 15 tier steal run :) Randomizing the rounds is a great idea - as is allowing for more mingling between tiers for matchmaking. An additional game mode is being made which will allow you to hide your info (no status display, custom usernames etc) - this one will make it far easier/more profitable to steal, but will be available as an extra game mode option, rather than replacing the current game mode :) Hope this helps - and thanks again for the feedback!
There ought to be a secret boss which is unlocked after you 100% the game, it's a little disappointing that there isn't a final challenge of some kind. Maybe add a good ending if you can defeat the necromancer without shadow form? Also, there's a bug - the mana explosion spell unlocks on level 12, but the description only appears once you reach level 13.
@Laurapalooza the problem isn't that I couldn't avoid them, it was that there were so many I could not get through the hallway. If I avoided the explosion then more ice bombs would appear closer to me.
In the ice caves I literally could not get through simply because the statues repeatedly put ice bombs in my path which you can't do anything about except wait until they explode, and the final room is only accessible through a two-wide hallway, and the statues can't be attacked until you get through the hallway. Please change it so that ice bombs can be destroyed or make ice statues spawn them less often. Also the ice statues can shoot and spawn ice bombs without a clear line of sight, which is complete BS because nothing else in the game (including the player) can attack without line of sight.
With ball speed bonuses, the snow ball can reach speeds that cause it to miss blocks and even go outside of the window. Please put a cap on the speed of the snow ball.
Amazing sequel, cool mechanics, and tricky puzzles! Would've loved a special end screen for those who got all 9 stars, but it's still definitely a 5/5.
Was fighting the second forced encounter in the third mission (with 1 security bot and 2 hacked bots) and when I killed the second hacked bot I got this:

I love seeing this type of game, with an abstract art style, ambient music, and unique puzzle solving mechanics. I just wish there were a bunch more levels. 4/5, but once all 9 level tiers are finished it's definitely a 5/5.

-docstring 25 is weird and difficult to get. I still don't know how I managed to get it.

The final boss was stupid and pointless once I realized who I was controlling. You can just spam s or w. His d move is horrible though. However, lack of a double jump just made it frustrating. One time, I was spamming vandheer's ultimate and I knocked the guy to the edge, then I used my ultimate right on top of him, then fell to my death. That also happened the first time I used his d move.
nice find, thought I had found all those spots :) - unfortunately doesn't allow any sequence breaking or better speed runs!
