I like the atmosphere; they way graphics and music work together. The 'puzzles' are totally random though and the game is sooooo short. This was trial and error...
Alright game, like the graphics and the gameplay but I encountered bugs two times that forced me to start from the beginning and I can't be bothered to try it a third time...
How to make a game with 4 tiny ideas... Artwork and sound are pretty decent but still the game itself is stupid. This is mostly trial and error or mini skill challenges, no real thinking involved...
Seriously, there is no strategy or skill involved at all. This is just stupid grinding in a game that is not even well made. You have an idea there, but find a way to make it difficult to hit someone and necessary to have a minimum amount of strategy to suceed. I can't understand at all how this got badges in the first place.
Awesome game. So simple but perfectly made. Great levels that are challenging, but rarely frustrating. Controls are pretty good but not perfect, my only complaint. The bit of story that is in the game, is great fun, too =) Still, I won't even try to get _all_ the coins, not as long as I have a job or another hobby ;-P
Hmm I loved the first Shift title, but I have to say the level design is just crappy with this one. Most are trial and error, there is no real puzzle element, i.e. thinking to it. Also very glitchy and crashes often, I guess bad programming. Funny ideas though, but needs way more polish and please let us see what keys etc. are going to do, so we have to plan ahead instead of try-die-repeat.
Epic impression at first, but the gameplay lacks variety. Also you level that so damn fast, there is no point in actually giving you a choice which skills to specc, you max them in a few minutes anyway
Pretty fun concept but the balancing is way off. One mistake (wrong buy) early on means the game is over. lvl 40 seems virtually impossible, even with infinite money in sandbox-mode I was not able to do it. Difficult to the point it gets stupid. 2/5
Nice idea and decent game design. However my impression is that there is faaaar too much luck involved. In the last mission (the only one, where you button-mashing isn't enough) at first try I was devestated, didn't even kill a single enemy unit with my tank + infantry. Second try they never even got my tank below 50% even though my strategy was the same... Probably too much luck involved going across that minefield with the tank?
It obivously needs some polish, but the idea is great. Take some time, improve graphics and the UI and a few more levels and you have a wonderful game.
