this is correct that you have to optimize gold before fish, and that you don't have to max out lumbering (maxing out would eat more gold than keeping them at just high leve, like 8). I will also give few extra tips:
1) Note that 3 small wood chunks are replaced by large 1. However, both small and large take exactly 1 space when carried. Thus, its efficient to have level 2, 5 or 8 tree, as they only give large chunks
2) Skipping to the next wave wil earn you few extra gold, but it will also cause you to upgrade dragon sooner, meaning you have to spend gold onto dragon and probably also fishermen. In fact, upgrading dragon to the level capable of beating the wave will cost more than you can get from skipping, so don't do that
Rotaring blocks are poorly implemented. They can be only moved when all of their links are broken, even if you could throw them away with one link remaining (one that opposes planned direction of movements)
game itself is not bad, however, lags are terrifying. Especially when you try to circle around Green Rabbit and it lags allowing bullet stream to catch you up
plot starts as excuse plot, ends as totally pointless one (why cosmonaut ever wanted to "go home" if he would never left planet anyway? and how his ship ended underground?)
gameplay is boring. You only have jump and "plants", and your only obstacle is height + need to take a long walk across the map
graphics would be acceptable if they managed to give players hints about game's world, but they don't. They aren't smooth (as it possible for "pixel" graphics), either. No "atmospheric" fits here
hero himself = zero. Absolutely nothing. ANd nothing else to attract my attention.
idea behind the game is not bad. It just doesn't exist.
all in all: I like metroidvanias, but as much as I try to find anything good in this game, I can't. 0/5
was invited into the game by some weirdo. Got curious, started playing... and finished when tutorial said I must use health potion (which restores ALL hp) with my hp being above half. I think I don't want to play the game with such a stupid tutorial
sadly I couldn't beat level 18. Not because solutions were too hard.... no, its heavy lags to blame. Game takes second or two to realize what command it just received, this only made worse by the fact this lags only affects commands and all scientists keep moving all whole time whil I try to move another string. At the moment where you had to make sphere tactivate a trigger when a triangle is at certain position mid-air, the lag stopped me from being able to time it - every attemp, by the moment circle's string responded to my command, triangle already landed back
first 14 levels - nice, interesting platformer
Tower of Glory (with Ace) - felt GREAT, just like one of IWBTG levels (and good thing it restarted level right after every death). What inspired you to make this level?
After getting best ending, am I only one who happen to ask: after planetary shield activation, what happened to Kuriiri and human. Were they left for rest of their lifes at hostile planet, unable to leave due to planetary shield?
UPD I just solved 110th level without guessing. I just accidently found out one secondary clue I wasn't thinking about before. So what I found was: if those eye4 pointing at two groups of 3 tiles each, each of them have at least 1 mine, and if compass2 stands between two groups each of which have at least one mine... Its now totally solvable. I really like this using of solutions like this, it always feels totally fair when you find it even if you was thinking "impossible" before
Great child of MineSweeeper.
Some levels are rather simple, some require some time to think and to find clue combination that unlocks more clues. Was able to beat all levels except 110, where I just can't find any empty tile via calculations from start. Had to use some guessing to get something at my hand (found which cell looked upon Eye-6 is empty), but before that I spent few hours trying to find anything at all. May be add extra hint there?
Good game which I 100% competed earlier on Newgrounds. Now I just did the same here and got badges. Its not good game didn't remember my progress after reloading page, but I done 100% it anyway
"You have identified and found a Murder Weapon" says the game on finale mission (where I am searching for Mastermind not murderer). Yet, so many hilarious moments when you try to aligh fact game says to "reality" (like, when most of mastermind suspects are "embeezling money" and our hero does NOTHING - guess why :))
