Better stay away, there are better games to spend your time (and if you like, money) on! There may be no Energy-Timer, but the game still is p2w and tries to persuade you to invest real money in the cards. If you don't, it is a terrible grind to upgrade even one card and since the game is unfinished (only one campaign that breaks up in the middle) there is not much content and it becomes very repetitive. The medium badge takes forever.
The problem with these p2win games is, the player always loses and the developers always win. If you start spending money, they get a lot more from you, than the game is worth and if you don't, you end up providing easy wins for those who pay, and so give them a motivation to keep spending.
I like simplistic games and had no problems with the jump input. Although playing this for too long obviously has a bad effect on my head. So in the last bonus level it took me a LOT of attempts to realize, that you should collect the lower coin going in and the upper coin after the turn. Anyway my thanks to the developer for a solid game.
Interesting. Usually I am all for games that put emphasis on the story. And this one has a lot of story and original ideas about time travel. But: There isn`t really a game. None of the levels is challenging and since you have to make (almost) every choice both ways, to continue the storyline, I feel you do not have a choice at all. So although I am impressed with the idea, overall this left me a little disappointed.
I may have to tolerate, that you try to make some money of players by offering to sell shortcuts for real currency. But it pisses me off, when a free game becomes (almost) unplayable unless you start paying. If you can’t use the cards witch took a lot of playtime and in game resources to research, unless you pay for them, that’s nasty. Especially if collecting stronger cards seems to be the only goal in the game.
Someone please tell me I’m mistaken! This looks like ANOTHER of those slow building, heavy time consuming multiplayer games, where they are trying to take real money from you at every turn. “Build your Kingdom and fight against other players in an epic fantasy whatever using mighty creatures and unique whatever..” – and the fool who wastes the most time and money wins. In the end all the serious players are gathered in about two or three powerful alliances, the game gets stale and slowly dies off. Then the inventors try to keep you going with some balancing and “special events” till finally you stop playing.
You know like with Empire Craft, Call of Gods. Lord of Ages and so on. I’m still wasting some time on Call of Gods but unless someone can truly say something in favour of this game, I don’t think I’ll be stupid enough to fall for the trick again.
