The animations for the ship are quite good, it needs a lot of things to be added before it can be a true arcade game though. For starters it needs a score counter, enemy variation and power-ups; it is a good beginning though.
Every time I refresh the game my units are almost 50% weaker than they were before, the same thing happens to my earned gold. Is there some kind of buff that only lasts until the page is refreshed or is this some kind of glitch?
Was this just on Monday? Or is it actually every time you refresh the game? Some Crusader abilities do have timers and will need to be re-cast once you reload the game.
The game is short but it is pretty fun, I don't understand what the unique abilities were nor the strengths to either player, player 1 was always a crystalline creature while player 2 appeared to be dirt or mud, player 2 had more health but they both had the same amount of energy, If I am missing something please tell me.
Thank you! The Chandelier has a Magnetic Pull to bring the enemy closer. The Potato launches little Tuber minions to whip roots at the enemy. The game was originally meant to have more golems available to play. Unfortunately, the Crystal has defense crystals that shoot the tubers down. However, these crystals satellites can be destroyed, and then the army of Tubers will speedily destroy the Crystal golem. The crystal golem is also supposed to have a shorter range weapon, and hopefully future patches will have that implemented :) Thank you for the feedback though!
Also, AI is now implemented, and some of the graphics were updated. If you have a chance, please give it another playthrough and let me know what you think!
The game seems to be fairly well made, it desperately needs polishing though, the camera move speed is horrible and the mouse needs to be locked on the screen so you don't click out and freeze the game. The game just needs someone to add the finishing touches and your game will be much better.
Honestly though I don't really know what to think of this game, it went from 'Hey I've played loads of these, I love these games.' to 'WAIT NO WHY AAGGGHH NO!!'. Herein lies a brief intermission to cover my panic at reliving Doodle Jump flashbacks, (May the developers burn forever for their monstrosity.) the story now continues as my brain calms enough to be moderately coherent, 'BUT... WHY... HOW... NOT EVEN A HINT.......YOU HAVE TO GIVE PEOPLE WARNINGS...*internal wince as even more doodle jump flashbacks come flooding back* BUT WHYYY WOULD YOU DO THIS!!'. This all happened over the course of about three seconds and it is amazing I was able to coherently start screaming, cursing the developers about not warning the players, although to be fair most people won't need a warning.
You know the real reason he is pogo jumping on clouds? Not to get to mars of course but so physics can get a better view of him sticking out his middle finger.
The game is pretty good, I've played several similar, but it needs a few things added. A mute button would be great, I found the slider to change the music, but I couldn't find anything to change the rest of the sound. The game is constantly messing me up by freezing so if you locked the player's mouse in one place and used a crosshair that is unable to leave the game screen it would make the game a lot easier. The game also seems to easy when you first start, it would be more fun if you changed it so the zombies to 2 hits and the spiders 3, so you couldn't just sit in the center of the map with your infinite ammo and kill everything in the first few levels without a scratch. (The final suggestion in purely opinion and in no way should be considered the opinion of the other players, if others agree with me than it is something that should definitely be done.)
When the game launches there is just a black screen with a scroll bar, no keys do anything, after you finish your game you should either fix this version or post the finished game.
I've completed all the available levels and I realize how helpful the slight drift is when you turn, when I go around a turn a can drift making sure that my gun is pointed direct at the enemy tanks the entire time, it makes it a little more difficult to aim but it is a small enough difference to not effect game play.
Thanks for the nice comments! I will add where to find the sensitivity setting in the instructions so it is clear to new players. I would like to add a shop in the future, but it depends on how popular the game gets. This game is also on the windows store and there it does have multiplayer which I added recently, but I had to disable it on the web as it doesn't work at all when playing in a browser.
Actually Ive added the a score counter its hidden cause of problem with the screen width. I'll be updating it soon. Thanks for the heads up.
