Wait, figured it out. My Kongpanion stats only reset because I loaded up the game and THEN signed in to Kongregate. Anyone who has the same issue, just refresh the game after signing in.
Re-entered the game after having to leave for a shopping trip and found that all my Kongpanion stats had lost their bonuses (at least visually), so even the Shiny ones were only +2. Needs fixing!
It's truly just IRRITATING when you get a MASSIVE combo chain and the Boss loses all it's health and transforms mid-combo, cancelling out the combo in it's entirety from that point onwards...
Basically, use the WASD keys rather than the arrow keys, or you'll have a heck of a time (even though both are viable for movement, the arrow keys are very limited by comparison to WASD).
Update: Found that using the WSAD formation rather than the left/right/up/down formation actually allows you to use other keys to regain footing. I'd still prefer to have the choice of either key group though.
Just a question.... is the Space Bar REALLY the only way I can get back up after being knocked down? Because that's a real hassle for me, as a leftie mouser.
So the star rating is based on how many stars you get in a World area. Not on which specific ones you get. So you have to complete ALL THREE OBJECTIVES AT ONCE to get a three-star rating, you can't just defend the tower on one try and worry about saving penguins in another. Vote up so that people know!
Yea, this is a bug I've been putting off for awhile in order to prioritize more game-breaking ones. Now that all of the game-breaking bugs seem to be out of the way, I'm gonna be working on fixing this!

Thing is, a Kill Count wouldn't do much good because even if a tower isn't killing directly, it's probably getting the enemies down to a point whereupon they CAN be killed by OTHER towers.
Only at Stage 9, have only upgraded the Bazooka thus far, and am not feeling any pressure to switch except as a last-ditch attempt at doing damage without waiting for the cooldown. Then again, I am on Easy mode. Fun little game, though.
It'd be nice to have stock percentages on the Marketplace. So we could tell where the average was and if we were selling high or low... WITHOUT having to memorise the exact numbers.
