If you press "B" all of the towns turn blue and the people move more slowly, but everything else seems to move at the same speed (e.g. - fire). I'm not sure if this is what is really going on, but it seems to me that it is. It's an on/off trigger, by the way. So pressing "B" again will revert it to the normal mode.
@dseehausen: Just wait. It stops being easy after a while. A lot of it is, but not all of it. Besides, it's still fun even while it's not that difficult.
Also, I would like to inform you of a rather annoying bug. Sometimes when playing on skirmish mode, certain totems will stop working. I had times when I would use the tidal wave totem and it wouldn't work, but I would still lose 500 mana points. It doesn't happen every time, just ~50% of the time. It also only seems to happen to certain totems. I have noticed that it affects the tidal wave, fire storm, fire mountain, whirlpool, and lightning totems. It DOESN'T seem to affect the fire column, fire/wind/earth hero, terraform, waypoint, or swamp totems.
For the skirmish, I think it would be nice to be able to change the options for the game (i.e. - clicking on the aggressiveness bar would allow one to change the aggressiveness, clicking on active/inactive totems would disable/enable them, one could change the land type). However, I still think it would be good to keep the initial values random, as sometimes people just want to play a randomized game.
All too true. Our "democratic" nations across the world are corrupted. Someday they may make communism look good. We really need to rebuild our governments from their foundations. Fear should burn in the hearts of those in government, not in the hearts of those they rule. Big Business is becoming indistinguishable from Big Brother. None of it should have even begun to happen to a government that prides itself on being "for the people" and that was built on such a principle. But here we are -- America. We should put an end to this and never let it happen again. We need to show our governments the true power of the people. They seem to have forgotten. Of course, we should be as peaceful as possible at first, but if there is no significant change for the better after 3-5 decades, we need to take more... convincing actions. I am not for anarchy, since it just doesn't work, but what we have in our democratic nations is certainly not what I'd consider democracy.
Keep thinking of the vortex (time) from the 9th and 10th Doctors (Doctor Who) when I see that tunnel thing at the beginning of this and in the brain room of the first one.
I may have found the problem ... bare with me on this, hopefully will be sorted soon :D
