@battlecock america didn't start sending troops over til the middle of the war, because they were fighting the Japanese in the pacific, and even then they just stayed on British bases til D-Day. if anything the it was the rebels in the occupied countries that won the war as they sent back information to the war office so they could formulate the plan for D-Day. and Russia lost most of their male population(probably slight exaggeration) fighting on the eastern front where they held off the Germans with little to no help from the allies. over all it was a combined effort but some countries contributed more than others so no one country won the war themselves other wise it would defeat the purpose of being a World War. btw a minor in history or wat ever you got is worth f-all cos history everywhere is biased towards the country it is being taught in
