I really enjoy this one so far. I would really think the early game would benefit from some more ways to gain resources. Maybe the shooting stars could be collected? Perhaps clicking on ore and fossils and other things i.e. (worms from "Tremors" films ?!?) as I have found getting started is somewhat slow. :D
This game has a great concept, but it desperately needs a or type of button. Progression becomes quite tedious due to the number of upgrades required. Otherwise liking it so far.
This is storytelling gold! I have not seen better storytelling on Kong, and that includes the Rusty Lake series! If you keep making these games I will keep playing them, simply fantastic!
To begin with, this game is technically NOT an idle game. It is an incremental game, with some idle elements. I like the look, the layout and a few other things. But, the big draw-back is that the game requires huge amounts of player directed action, and the battle portion of the game seems useless other that for spamming clicks to increase the level at which you are spamming clicks... The classes should be more diverse, with the balance of classes actually having an impact on how battles develop. Additionally, the cost of all upgrades should scale more dramatically, or they should give less of a bonus. This game NEEDS a Buy All Available Upgrades button... NEEDS IT. I like the concept, and with some development it could be really great. So I will tentatively give it a 5/5 for hope, and the promise of effort invested by the developer. Otherwise as it stands, a 3/5 would be at the top end of ratings it could achieve.
The "special" characters, i.e. the item gather guy/arena guy, seem way over priced... I have played for about 3 days nonstop and barely have 6k after getting gear for the team and all. I may have had enough to buy the item guy, but the necessity of the "upgrade books" has outweighed the need for the ancillary purchase of the guys...
10 man team, all level 106, all full gear slots.
Pretty soon you're gonna run out of things to spend gold on! :D Most players actually have too much money lying around on their accounts, so these guys are more of a luxury (except the arena guy, if you can get far enough in the arena, it has some exclusive drops). Always subject to balancing though! Will probably make him cheaper as soon as more stuff to actually spend gold on is in the game.
Also, a "Back from the Brink" achievement for bring the population from near extinction (some # of people) to a healthy population (some # of people) again, would be a cool addition.
It would be really cool if the Mutant Tangerine Menace had a negative effect on the Tangerine Exchange, which could be stabilized by Heroic Tangerines... lol
So far I love the game! I would suggest a couple things:
1. After a map battle, a button to return to map, instead of just to base.
2. After a rebuild allow me to choose any difficulty on map mode that I have previously beaten.
3. Allow me to set abilities to the mouse buttons.
4. Give me an option to auto-equip items when all stats are green.

this game is great. I think a way to increase the overall growth speed process would be a great upgrade. Also, some of the trees that this produces are truly Japanese Bonzai Beautiful! A way to upload our favorites to share with the community, or even an option to email/text them to our friends and family would be sweet... "Happy anniversary honey, I grew you a virtual Bonzai tree!... lol
I could easily export the images as png's with the same code in just about any other format than flash, but that (might) be just a skills issue. I shall look into it sir, thanks for the comment!
Did anyone else realize that he was already dying, the ambulance outside was a sure giveaway. The entire adventure was a dream, a wonderful, beautiful, last adventure... :.)
