This game doesn't deserve a four star rating. And the sadness of the fans who used to play the original WMT shows it. Most of all I'm confused why synapticon has neglected to even make a comment on the fans' sadness. I'm leaving my two star rating as it is and coming back later to see if the game's condition has improved. Really, devs, you need to rectify the situation. I am (or at least was) a big Tyrant fan and it's sad comparing what it used to be to what it is now.
This was a bad direction to take this game in, artlogic--I'd rather donate after you made a Epic War 6 then pay for energy in this one ... I really hope you will do another normal, campaign-based one before that the people have loved in the past. [+] if you agree?
Devs--I'd highly suggest that you add a speed up/slow down hotkey! There are so many times that I find myself racing with my mouse to click the speed up/slow down button, that I find that a speed up/slow down hotkey would be very useful to me, and would enhance my gameplay greatly.
Honestly, I don't really want upgrades in the sense of just a higher speed or just higher upgrades. I'd either want unique upgrades or just no upgrades at all. Given I just want to finish the game. I don't want to be FORCED to backtrack because I need more upgrade points to beat a level (like a lot of games have). 4/5 for the fun AIs and the graphics, leaving that extra point for any possible improvement. Though It would probably drop to 3/5 (or even 2/5) if they added that annoying upgrade system some games have.
:l If this game is going to get better, they need to, along with adding weaknesses/strengths to the battle screen, refine this "hatchery" system so I'm not wasting so much time redoing each level.
This game needs work. They really need to add something so you can see the type each minion is. It would turn this game from a 2 or 3 star game to a 4 or 5 star game ...
I wish Tyrant had a version like this in the sense that you have access to all the cards and you don't have to use energy to do a mission. Tyrant could also add challenges like this! Imo, this is much better than Tyrant ...
Ha. At the end my buddies ran off because the barricade was breaking but then I killed the last zombie. The rescue arrived and I was the only one there. Speaking of buddies/other survivors, how come THEY can run off but you can't?
Another game where they have features locked unless you have completed the game. :l I completed this on another computer that I can't get to now and I don't want to have to complete the game again just for the 1 badge. >_>
I hope they keep the bases the units have that make it seem like it's a table top game. Small, nice touches like these make me happy to rate this 5 stars.
The survival mode should be unlocked with max equipment available regardless whether you have completed story mode. I'm not going to waste time completing story mode again just for the survival mode when have already completed it on another computer (unavailable currently) ... these things keep me from wanting to rate this 5 stars ...
1 hit from killing Dragon for challenge 4 my Sword decides to run off, Dragon pursues and ignores shield, kills sword, then kills shield. Why?! It just shows the AI in this ... they shouldn't shoot over units (both AI and yours) or stop attacking a unit (a unit you sent to do an action)
Yeah, I should probably put in a code to unlock bonus stuff.
