Dude this game is awesome! The developer needs to start right away on a sequel! i know there is a spell for it but maybe letting us move two spaces a turn would be nice. i love the turn system and think it would be cool if you could add floor advantages like the slime monster trails slowing your walk while other grounds could enhance your spells effect or damage output or something like that. Oh and obviously more spells!!! The last idea i have is to make it to where once you've beaten the game on a lower difficulty you can replay it with the same spells unlocked upgrades on the next level of difficulty. That would mean locking higher difficulties until lower ones were beaten but it would be really awesome to have that kind of system. The story was hilarious. The gameplay itself sometimes seemed a little laggy in response time but thats more my computers fault than anything else. Great game!
Puzzles 8 and 9 i feel have multiple solutions... but having to find the right specific one is kind of annoying and making the number swaps over and over until i find the right combination is like cracking a safe. just have to get lucky.
It would be cool to see the stats of the enemy. what they have for push and attack and defense. if you make a sequel and give the player more detail about what is upcoming they can plan and place accordingly. just a thought. :) it was really a fun game but simple enough to where once you get the concept it quickly turns into a spam the bombs game. so maybe increase the time before they can be used. lol
i like it so far. working to complete it but have a question? my dual wielder just shoved a guy like the upgrade entails but knocked him off the area i can target him from. so i see the enemies weapon as he walks but he is stuck back there off screen. i cant seem to kill him with any weapons i currently have equipped. small bug just refresh and fight on but still something i thought you the developer would like to know.
one more thing i was curious about? it would be nice to have a choice from three with the coupons. only because i have plenty of meat. lol but could sure use a lot of eggs or especially cheeses. lol
what determines my monsters speed? im fighting the third boss and he went like twelve times in a row. im a higher level so so i dont understand how this oppenent can be so easily ferocious and out do my character.
i love this game i wish there was a better look for it though. i mean its kinda like playing a game of chess. but maybe give them terrains that change the amount of damage they can give and recieve and obviously that implys no longer a one hit kill but health bars and stuff would make it pretty interesting i think. i like it. :)
JEEEEEZzZ the third champion is supposedly a level 10... his weapon stats say level required 32 are you frakin nuts! how the hell am i supposed to beat this mad man!
Man i like this game a lot more than i thought i would and i dont usually play games like this. one thing i would like would be a little marker besides just the color change on wether or not i completed a challenge. and more of them! once they are done the game doesnt have as much fun to it.... that aside maybe more than one save tile? greeat game though man!
the only thing i dislike about this game is the hit chance and damage for those hits. i like the hit chance and all that but its kinda frustrating when i think ok im going for a heavy attack... and it does less damage than if i just stuck with the normal or even the easy attack.
Hey! i agree that the moving forward on attacks part is a bit of a pain but i didn't have a problem with coins. that aside i also liked the training to go test out new spells before the arena so it was cool to have that. later on expand that. maybe give your character skills so that the more time spent in training the more leveled he becomes. on top of that maybe even a skill tree so we aren't watching the same two attacks the entire game. Another idea though not a necessity would be to hire on some people to help you in the arena like a mage or a cleric for example. would really be a cool way to add to it. The last thing i can think to add would be more characters and a story. you had the build up to how he became a gladiator but after that nothing happens making this go from interesting to repetitive. if you added a reason that he is fighting and a few people he meets along the way that help him get there? thats just a few ideas i hope are helpful if you make another game. Good luck!
I'm on it! Floor effects is actually something I thought about, too! I want to make the slime trails heal the slimes and stuff like that :D
