brice do challenge 3 with the Base Reduced by 4, Max Autoclicker and Free Factors upgrades. Then with that challenge complete it should be a little easier to get one more Factor Boost which will unlock Manifolds.
I wish there was a guide that's accurate to the current version. I'm currently stuck at 120 Boosters, 7 Challenge Completions and 3 Manifolds. Completing any of the other available challenges, earning more boosters, or earning enough Incrementy for another upgrade all look like they'll take days. There has to be something that'll break this stalemate but I have no idea which kind of upgrade will do it.
Especially after upgrading the jump. It's like you set it to take a fixed amount of time per jump instead of per distance traveled, so the higher I'm capable of jumping the less time I have to adjust my trajectory.
I think the biggest thing that would make it feel more fair is turning down the game speed. It feels like I hit the jump button and immediately go all the way up and back down before I have the chance to move left or right in the air.
Is (4,4) bugged or something? It seems like you get to the 3rd flag the same way you get to the 2nd, but when I try that I don't get pushed the last space.
Biggest problem for me is that when you go into move mode there's no instructions on what keyboard commands open doors, go up or down stairs, etc. Unless move mode is only for moving around not anything else but if so I think that should be clearer, I read it as "you do the moving not the AI" mode not "all you can do is move" mode
Game doesn't work for me. I can click to load but then I just see this http://prntscr.com/da0nry with the message greyed out and I can't click on anything.
Strange, no idea what could be causing that issue. Try spamming arrow keys and WASD? Or perhaps cycle the control schemes in settings.
That's all I can really think of, atm. I'll try to look into it later.
"I tried to convey that it's ok to make mistakes, that you're supposed to make mistakes"
I completed A2 with one mistake and on the level screen it had 2 icons. I completed it again with no mistakes and had the same 4 icons as A1. That communicates to me 0 mistakes is some sort of achievement and I should aim for it on every level.
There's a tension between encouraging players to find more ways about reasoning about the puzzles, and encouraging players to make strategic misses. My brother suggested to me that I should raise the difficulty of each level so that the best achievement is 2 misses, but that's pretty hard to do without throwing a lot of other things out of balance. I'll consider that for the rewrite, but in the meantime I'm going to try some simpler ideas.
I don't comment very often, but I had to say something about your latest update:
1) You made a double reference, that's a good thing and anyone who had a problem with it should've been ignored.
2,4,5) All good changes, those levels were tricky and players shouldn't have to choose between cosmetic changes and meaningful upgrades.
3) Did you have to change that right after I finally managed to deliver all the ice cream? ;p Seriously, though, Hard badges are supposed to be hard. Before I finally managed that one I was resigned to the possibility that I might only get 20pts out of this game and that's not a bad thing to have happen occasionally.
It's unlocked if you have unlocked the boss
