See, these games are fun to me if the money gain is exponential. Start out really slowly and eventually get it so you're making a hundred thousand gold per shot. But there's no skill that decreases the slowiung effect of helicopters and polar bears. Which means that I'll often get a max power shot and use all my flight power, only to hit 10 helicopters, a polar bear, and not get past 4000 distance.
For that... and only for that... I give this game a 3.
Most times I cannot use the meteor gun. Clicking it then dragging the mouse over the shooter does nothing. I always have to select another gun although I have one available. Is there a mechanism I don't know about?
Not only can you aim where you want the destruction to be precisely, but the people don't support structures! It was always so frustrating when a person supported a beam and prevented you from killing everyone.
If I click too quickly the upgrade screen comes up. It's very frustrating to have to limit how fast I click or else be paused every few seconds. It's a beautiful game, but I can't give it more than a 3 until the double click thing goes away.
I play this game best when I fall into a rhythm. Timing is everything. There isn't a specific part of the track that I know I have jump at. Instead, it's based on how fast the coaster is going and how big the next platform is.
Which means that when the game slows down due to too many effects, or the game freezes for a split second and only registers half the power of my jump... I screw up and I have to restart.
This is a good game! If it didn't slow down after every sparkle, it would be great!
There's an occasional bug where you can't check the health of one of your birds when you mouse over it.
Other than that, a brilliant game! Though I too would like the option of what maneuvers I can take per mission.
It's a fun game, and I'm amazed that the music loop isn't annoying me yet.
However, I'm annoyed that the spacebar resets the level. I accidentally pressed it after getting 780 on a level.
I like it! Though I wish that there was a way to lower the quality so that it ran faster, but that's more a personal preference than anything wrong with the actual game.
I can't be certain, but I thank that the Slammer weapon makes you lose money every time you use it as though you had crashed into someone.
The weapon is a money sink. Don't buy it.
The 2 owls go left or right, up or down, depending on where the mouse is. The is a place where the mouse can go in the tree that causes the owls to disappear entirely... you just have to find it.
Okay, so I was pressing really quickly trying to get rid of the water so that I could end the level and try again, and somehow I've reversed the scoring. When I click on a drop I get a point and when I get combos and bonuses I lose a point. I'm on lvl 10 with 395 drops remaining.
