Problem i ran into with the bigger fish is that the range tends to be a bit weird. Specially when fishing sword fish. Sometimes it stretches really far, other times you lose the lines while the fish is next to you.
Yea someone pointed this out recently to me. The issue is because the camera is angled, so even though it looks closer or further, the line is actually the same distance. When you approach from the top it looks longer, from the bottom it looks shorter. This is a little embarrassing but............I actually couldn't figure out a good way to fix this. I have to treat the 3d angle as a 2d game, and I DID pull this off with the fish collision detection but this issue is a little different. But yea, thanks for pointing it out again, it means it's definitely noticeable and I'll have to tackle this again some time.
I enjoyed this game quite a bit but i do feel it needs some tweaking. Most countermoves are to stamina intensive or just to slow making them pretty useless. Also i would love some more information on what is considered a hold and what cancels out what. For example i had a fight where i locked in hammerfirsts and my opponent a rear naked choke. My move happened a turn sooner, yet both applied. I assumed hammerfists would be a hold and therefor cancel his choke. Instead while i was hammering him, he was chocking me but i could not break free because i was locked.
Also how do you unlock the other fighting stances when creating a new fighter?
Hi Antro,
Each restart of the game unlocks new styles - we locked the wrestling and BJJ for starting since they require more strategic game-play and are hard for beginners. With your next run of the game they will be locked, and on the third you can build up your starting deck on a "draft rules".
Initially your fighter is not strong enough and some moves could feel slow but later they will become more useful. The defensive/counter moves are stamina heavy for a reason, else they become too OP. Yet, the RNC should have canceled your Hammer fist attacks and unlock your move - this is a bug which will be fixed. Thanks for sharing it with us!
No crashes for me and i have not lost a match so far (Only played a handfull though). The big issue for me is actually ending the matches. I kinda feel bases might have a bit to much "hp". Sometimes i find myself having units hitting the enemy base in all 3 rows and it still takes a full minute. This might be because units dont seem to stack or able to walk past/trough each other. So if the lead unit is ranged any shorter ranged units will just be stuck walking instead of being able to damage the tower.
In a 3d perspective, it is weird to have the unities stacking or walking trough the others (I tried!)About the bases Hp, they are upgradable, maybe reducing the upgraded value the problem os solved. Thanks for the feedback! I Hope you enjoy the game!
Fun game, just a tad weird that you need to finish the stages to unlock guns that are worse then the starting gun. And really? And why can't i one shot a basic zombie with a shotgun close range!
found at least one bug, at the hardest difficulty, in extreme mode a highest speed (lvl 20) i have had a stalemate a few times. If you place your pieces in such a way that all moves will cost the computer, he does not do anything.
Challenging game due to controls. Acceleration is a bit to fast for my taste. Your pretty much forced to stutterstep with instant handbrake if you want to go slow.
Dont know if its working as intended but you can "shoot" your mouse even if your not holding on to a slingshot. Also when you are holding on to one, the direction is not dictated by the direction your slinging your mouse, but its decided by the way your mouse is facing upwards.
Pretty decent game, i enjoyed it untill i realised you can just lift your guy up whilst he is standing on the block. The music kinda annoyed me, but only because i know it but i have no idea how the song is called :D
Easy would require a moderate amount of skill, in this case as pointed out already all you need to do is click a single button over and over again and you will "beat" the game.
You can still edit your bet after the bullets are fired. Just enter any bet, wait for the bullets to fire and count the kills. Enter this amount before the bullets clear the screen and you will always win.
Rather easy, i went with the high dura suit and managed to finish the game without being to bothered by avoiding incoming damage due to the high amound of health drops. Also you can just spam your best gun seeing how ammo drops a lot as well.
