I really dislike that raises for working in the same position and having upgrades have been removed. What's the point of buying anything in the shop?? Definitely a step in the wrong direction. This isn't a "Final Version" it's a graphic update, sponsor add-in and we've lost some good features. I like the daily lottery and the friends/employees feature, but they honestly feel like more of a money grab. They shouldn't be taken out, but the game needs more features. I found the beta the first month it came out and I keep coming back, thanks for a great game Cannons, here's to making it even better.
Nice game with a lot of potential. I found wall jumping to actually be very responsive, but just about everything else could've used work. The floor seemed to be slippery at completely random, while not the next moment. The jetpack was awful, had very radical, delayed response time and was not at all intuitive. The jetpack really made the game nearly unplayable for me. More than anything, the game lacks the option to change quality, while being fairly gpu intensive for a flash game. Though, bonus points for actually creating a story and ending it.
For those of you late in the game and annoyed with having to hit enemies dozens of times, SPOILER: the best weapon in the game can be found in Boon Village and the Desert Cave for 45900 gold. Helps a little bit, but you still have to hit enemies a ridiculous amount of times >.>
Updated my 2/5 to a 5/5. Why? Well, simply put, this game grows on you. Sure, the controls aren't super intuitive, but it's not meant to be an easy game. If you're having trouble, put it down and come back tomorrow. It's a subconscious thing, if you've ever played an instrument you'll understand; you couldn't get a song down for hours but played it perfectly the next day. Every detail, the motion, the zooming, the speed and the controls are fine tuned to create a difficult game. It really is a piece of art. Honestly, I do think that hard badge should be impossible, but 60:00 really is an attainable goal. I couldn't break 50:00 yesterday, and today with about 15-20 tries i did break 50:00, and I got 87:53.
Good luck! ^_^
Well I finally found the mute button. Next time let's make it obvious and not make the only way to find it to click outside the frame eh?
The concept is simple, but the execution is awful. I understand the complaints about the controls, but those really aren't all that hard to get used to. What's hard to get used to is the awful shaking and zooming effect that's given me a headache after about 2 minutes of playing.
A game that should get an easy 4/5, but deserves a 2/5 because of design flaws.
You know, the only thing about this game I didn't think was stellar was when I played as Hank and he sat there looking up moving his tongue as if he were eating out an imaginary woman in front of him. That was even better.
In all seriousness, I love it, and can't wait for the full version. If y'ever need any advice or anything you know where to get me ;)
