The only possible thing would've been to make the 3D not only a picture but allow us to walk around in first person now ;) That would've needed Unity though, and would be over the top for a ludum dare I suppose.
I wish developer tested their games on low-end machines. Unfortunately some of us have to put up with affordable computers but it would still be nice to enjoy amazing games like this. Even on low quality, this game is ridiculously slow and laggy :/
Very nice. I watch out to save my game regularly, in three different slots. Additionally I've read that it autosaves after every main mission. Only to then come back here again and find that there is no save game. Thanks.
I equipped four items, then realised they might disappear like other things in this game so unequipped them. They were then in the inventory. Fought a battle, realised the one that I left equipped was still there, wanted to equip the others. They were gone... errm...
@AngryCyc: I played through the game killing things along the way as I explored only. I ended up level 67 when I finished the boss, charging the strong version of a spell took about as long as a normal click, my jumps were 5 boxes high and my spells ignored the normal immunity of some monsters. I think that's pretty high powered. @brainisdead: don't see your problem with the map.
After completing the game, the map discovery since last loading of the page and finishing is lost. It would be nice if you could fix that and add an extra that gives a hint when you continue to where the orbs and fragments that you missed are :) The spells and orbs are also almost impossible to distinguish from each other.
SOPA and PIPA are not just American. Similar laws are being introduced or already employed all over the world. Every government uses the same pretence to facilitate internet censorship: "fighting piracy", sometimes with a dose of "fighting child pornography" as another excuse. The governments are afraid of the internet because it allows too much communication and makes base democracy possible and easy. That's why they want laws to control it. Don't let them. Keep the internet free.
Tactics advice for Arch Duel: You and the opponent will both start with high mana levels, so initially the computer will play down high cards. You win by creating a mana advantage for yourself; either through gaining more than the computer (elementals, elf hermit, mind master) or obstructing the opponent's regeneration (astral guard). Best is probably a combination :) For the starting card, Mind Master or Cloistered Elemental are good choices.
The Sorcerer's Ritual of Glory also increases the enemy's creatures' attack by 3, which it probably isn't meant to. But since that resets itself after your own turn ends, it doesn't actually have any effect :)
That moment when you're missing 2 journals and 1 mushroom; think you have searched everything, then exalt as you find a blue sparkling thing only to realise it's a chest; meaning that you're most likely still looking for 1 key, 1 journal and 1 mushroom somewhere...
Probably the largest mistake in this is how enzymes are lost when they do their function. I'll put the fact that this thing can use aerobic metabolism in space aside XD
Hahaha XD pressing "r", instead of actually popping up a menu it simply dims the screen. I.e. if you press "r" repeatedly, you can completely black it out.
Endings: 1) Get her to leave, i.e. resolve that you don't need her. 2) Stay as is, i.e. tell her you don't need her but then be unsure. 3) Get closer to her, i.e. make her feel good etc.
Please don't use Y and Z as hotkeys. It's a horrible thing that no developer should ever do, at least not without allowing both keys the same function to account for users with different keyboard settings.
