PJPX3 - most of your essence income comes from bosses (with the upgrades), so if you play actively, that's the most time efficient way of farming essence. That's basically it.
Ok, the game's pretty cool, but it quickly comes to a mindless grind - once you get your cushions, all lands, Husk weapon, there's very little you can do apart from getting more prestige - which takes ages. There certainly needs to be more stuff to do. Grinding in an idle game is fine, but you've got to have an incentive to grind for those medals - not just the finisher 70, but 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 as well.
It's 2M/6M/20M if I recall. They do persist through abdications and reincarnations. Generally, it's worth checking the forum and the wiki, all the info is there.
Balance comment: heavy infantry is underpowered, with 4 seconds attack speed they kill too slow and die too often. Priestesses, on the other hand, are very strong and effective killers and healers. Wisdom, despite the tooltip, also increases their attack speed. On the other hand, heavy infantry agility upgrades seem worthless, offering a pathetically small increase to crit chance.
@theonly90 - idle games are just for fun and there is no competition among players. Fast forward one year, game beaten, find a new game. What's the point? If you're using cheats, in fact you're just cheating on yourself.
Another thing - it is possible to make profit in the market, and it's like this: buy anything that has a low price, save, reload game, wait until price increases. It often does right away (after first prices update). Other than luck and this exploit, there seems to be no way to make profit out of trade.
A lot of balancing is needed. Palace costs are the only obstacle in advancing through eras. Monuments and workers are too cheap, and monuments are too ineffective in relation to workers. Trade is broken and prices go down once you buy any goods. This game seems to have a great potential, but needs balancing.
This is how it works with soldiers: If you have more than 100 sergeants, excess training gets stored until you run out of barrack space, then it gets added. Example: I have 150 sergeants and 100 barracks space: each second I will get a soldier and 50 training points will be accumulated. After 100 seconds I will run out of space, but I will have 5000 extra training points, meaning I will get another 500 soldiers. Over the limit. Two in bed. At lest they won't be cold...
Loading the game on a fresh machine shows the latest version. Kong might be having trouble caching it for current players due to frequency of updates?
