Torchlight is 20 bucks on Steam and has a reasonably active mod community. Whether you like the ARPG genre or not, I think that's a pretty safe benchmark for pricing out games these days.
Terrible bug: I bought the back-flip evasion move for the elf guy.
Problem is, it's the only move he does when facing right, now. My game is basically ruined, because it's impossible to make reasonable progress like this!
The disappearing cars thing happens when they stray too far out of bounds. If you do it, you basically lose the race cause you have to circle around and go through the checkpoint properly. The computer cheats and just spawns the cars a little distance before whatever checkpoint they failed to pass.
