Dear January, i was tempted to play this game by a description that bore a marked resemblance to our shared world of looming. I was disappointed to find, however, that it was merely metroidvania, as devoid of charm as the Oarboar is devoid of life. I shall be returning to you shortly; fondly yours, September.
for an entertaining after-challenge, try beating all the levels again without crashing on any of them. this can be done with or without the supercar. also, 5/5
Touting yourself as deep and insightful is pretentious, especially when this type of game has been done before. good music can't salvage a mediocre core. 2/5
I'm disappointed. what could have been an entertaining game is marred by balance issues and glitches. Enemies died and promptly undied at least five times, adrenaline never seemed to do anything (since you couldn't use it while drowsy) and the melee weapons were flat-out better than the ranged weapons for the first four-fifths of the game. It's a fun concept, but this version feels like a beta more than a full-fledged game, so 2/5
at over 1,000,000 combo i got bored and clicked off. still, this game has no real flaws and captivated me enough that i went for the 1,000,000 combo. 5/5.
Nerdook games have a tendency to fail on my google chrome-running mac, and this one is no exception. is there any way to fix this bug, or is it just inherent hardware conflict? thanks.
the 400 diamond gun (doomsday) is preposterous, in a good way. it makes the entire rest of (a very good) game worthwhile to run around like a maniac, filling the screen with bullets while the musical score blares in the background. nicely done, and 5/5
Beautiful, Wonderful game. couldn't expect any less of Gregory Wier, really. I'm curious as to where the last artifact-based portal is; I've found the Oarbor one, the light-based puzzle, the seecha bead tally and the lorem temple, but I can not find the last artifact location. does anyone know where it is?
I am running this game on a mac, and whenever i try to load a saved game my party is unable to move or interact with anything. I assume this is an error, so can you get it fixed? :3
I have a complaint. not about the game itself, but about the whiny losers who rate down games like these because they can't understand why somebody would create a game for artistic - and thus not entertainment - related purposes. I'm so sick of hearing "0/5 dumb" from noobs who seem to think that Iron Man 2 is the height of American culture. To everyone who rates this stuff down because it's not technically a game: you obviously don't understand the point of "artistic" moments in games, either (mass effect 2, anyone?). Please grow up, and stop wasting bandwidth trashing other people's hard work. Oh, and 5/5.
Okay...so it's a GOW ripoff. We know this already. That doesn't necessarily keep if from being a good game (and, if you think about it, GOW is just Gauntlet Legends in 3D). As far as the game goes, it's not great- but there is a certain visceral thrill in chaining ridiculous attack combos together and watching headless, armless enemies kick the living crap out of you. 4/5, and all you haters out there really need to chill.
It's a toss the turtle remake, but fun, silly and about as entertaining as the original. probably a 4/5, but I might be cheating against berzerkerstudio there.
wow, I'm so, so sorry. This game isn't bad, in the offensive or crude sense. It's just boring. if most tower defense games are the "snack foods" of flash gaming, this is more like tepid bathwater - not harmful, but ultimately dull. I can't imagine making a more boring tower defense game, and I honestly can't give this any higher than a 1/5 until the designers gives me a reason to enjoy this monotonous mass.
why is it that the first game was so hilariously funny, and this one was not? everything nutcasemightmare did here has all of the trollage he made fun of in the first game (exessive internet memeage, irrelevant political commentary, ect.) without any of the clever charm of the first game. In short, NCN needs to try a lot harder if he wants to make a third game; I loved the original, but was severely disappointed here. 2/5, because I only give a 1/5 to games that are totally, totally awful.
