Just a warning to everyone, Fifth Planet games has shut down a number of their games on Kongregate already, leaving no recourse for those who bought whatever "premium currency" was available for them. I would seriously think twice before purchasing anything here.
Coin Locations for those stuck: Top of doorframe (East Wall), book (North Wall), plant (North Wall), 3 under carpet (West Wall after hatch open), top of vending machine (South Wall), under side table (South Wall)
Demons are currently THE best faction, once you have 30+ trophies. Hellfire Blast is insanely good, especially with how high the money from Hell Portals gets thanks to demonic presence. For your second race, I strongly recommend demons to build up some diamonds.
If you open the "cheats" menu, a hidden button at bottom of inventory to the right of options, and type in "medallion" you will get all the badges! +1 if the game is too laggy to play on your computer!
Friendly reminder: don't get too attached to this game, 5th Planet games shut down City of Heroes out of nowhere after saying they couldn't imagine doing that.
As others have said, I question the description as an idle game... as it is, you need to be actively playing in order to damage the block, which is the only way to really advance. The progression slows to a crawl if you are not, and the character that lowers idle time does not make enough of a difference to even get any 2x heroes when you're not active. That said, it's a great idea for a game, and a lot of fun! Just a few balance issues as far as idle-ing goes.
You should make the newspaper achievement for 1000 newspaper stands (Media Rebirth) a bit higher, or include another newspaper multiplier somewhere. I was so excited to get there (closing in, have 990), and then I realized even with it, newspapers will be my worst selling item, by a significant margin. Like, 3 orders of magnitude significant. While this would be an improvement over the 6 orders of magnitude worse it is currently, it's still disappointing given all those papers!
