Get a good supply of research points at the end of a level. Then start a new level, buy everything you want to research, go to menu-> retry. You'll have all the unlocks, and your research points back!

It took years, but I have done it!!!!
Best strategy: Keep blood/10, speed, and power all as close to equal as possible. Started using this strategy at around level 20, and haven't lost a match since (all same level opponents).
I disagree that the max score of the game should be 4/5 since some parts of the game are locked without paying. Without spending any kreds, I just spent 5 hours playing this game (between the two campaigns, and paradox mode). The content that is available to everyone is spectacular, very reminiscent of ratchet and clank, and I happily rated it a 5/5.
Maybe add a different ending for finishing within a certain time (ie star is impressed you manage to do it in a week, and actually brings your dad back).
Pro Tip: If you transform in a tournament battle, and then continue fighting, you can start the next round transformed, with full mana. This is SUPER useful for the higher tournament levels.
This was a pretty good game, with fantastic art. My one complaint is that some differences were overused. For example, after the second or third screen, I always clicked on clouds immediately, it was like a gimmee.
