I don't think the x100 and x1000 values are calculating right. The x10 correctly factors in the cost increase for each upgrade, but the x100 and x1000 do not. The prices should be significantly higher than they actually are.
There were a couple of bulk buy codes that I had cut and pasted and forgot to adjust the zeroes 0.o The new build will render that null and void, as the whole system has received a MAJOR overhaul.
I have 3,000 Scouts right now, and the text that usually tells you how many objects you need to get to the next level is messing up. It just says "L33 at NaN (x undefined)." Here's proof: http://s17.postimg.org/xxeua03pr/Galactic_Clicker_Bug.png
Just a small gripe, but I wish the affordable upgrades' color was more distinguishable from the upgrades that I can't afford. Black and grey aren't exactly perfect contrasts.
This was intended to be a long-term upgraded after you had bought the empire gem currencies. But...those currencies don't exist right now, so for the sake of balance, I'll look into adjusting the price of that upgrade.
This is really the best idle game ever. I have also been working on a quasi-idle game for a few months now, but seeing the awesomeness that is AdVenture Capitalist has made me too depressed to finish it. :( (Joking aside, this game is awesome.)
I played this game a few months back. It has quite a few issues, no doubt. Regardless, something intrigues me about it, but I can't place my finger on it...
Maybe consider a x50 option? I have so much money and AI now that when I do a soft reset, even the x10 gets a bit tedious. It's not necessary by any means, just know that lazy people like myself would greatly appreciate the consideration :)
I think you should consider rewriting the algorithm for calculating prices. I understand it's intentional that cheap investments eventually become more expensive than their counterparts, but logically it just doesn't make sense. Right now it will cost me about $14 sextillion to buy the next Oil Company. Meanwhile, it costs me around $86 septillion (SEPtillion, not SEXtillion) just to buy another Newspaper Delivery, which gives around 500,000 times less profit than the Oil Companies do. I also have the same Newspapers as I do Oils.
Overall, not a huge issue, but definitely one I hope you consider in future updates. By the way, thanks for all the dev support you've poured into the game! I wouldn't even be suggesting this if I didn't think you would look into it.
Our upcoming update should, hopefully, make Newspapers more valuable than Oil Rigs, but in a different way than just cash per second. If it flops though, we'll probably adjust the algorithm. :)
Hi guys. I'm actually the person who made this game. It was first uploaded to Newgrounds (the only place I've actually uploaded it personally). I also have a sequel on the way; you can read more about it here: http://blablob.newgrounds.com/
