Do you like repetitive grinding and glorified mobile games? Then you'll love Dead End St! Its only quality is the lack of micro transactions. Worried about aiming? Don't worry: just get an automatic (Uzi/AK) and aim down the middle of the road - don't forget to keep holding down the fire button! 90%+ accuracy every time. Grenades are a joke.
Easy way to complete "Atheist", "Teetotaler", "Terrible Trio", "Dynamic Duo", "Hardcore Campaigner", "Veteran Campaigner", and "Extreme Campaigner":
First, play through the game enough to unlock The Limits of Evil (an endless dungeon). Then, set up the requirements for the achievement you want (for instance, only select two party members for Dynamic Duo), then load up The Limits of Evil, take a step forward, then leave the dungeon. Once you're sent back to the main menu, you'll get the achievement for whichever one you set up the requirements for.
You can't refuse to turn on the generator because it would make too much noise and result in everyone's death, but you sure as hell can refuse to do it because you don't like being ordered around... Even though you wouldn't be on this mission if it weren't the case...
Game is shit on the final level. Big guys don't spawn until you use Yee-Haw or upgrade past Shovel units, and then they spawn in groups of four - the only thing going to take them down is the last two Yee-Haw abilities or .50 Cal trucks, and you almost never get to use them due to lack of funds because runners and big guys come nonstop after that, or because everything they send kills more people than you can send out.
Mirage should only teleport/evade DOWN the track. I've had too many enemies get past her only because she decided she didn't want to go near the blue shield that marked the end of the track.
Stupidly hard. If one air unit gets through on the first level, your one artillery unit can't turn far enough back to hit it. Additionally, turrets are too costly to adequately defend your base. 1/5
How the hell is matchmaking fair? Everyone I fight against has units I've never even seen with weapons I haven't seen. Is there no level indicator? Does it just pair you up with some random douche?
At first I thought the android at the end was #1961, and the whole bunker scenario was a ruse to get rid of android sin a secret way in order to save energy for the others. Would have been a huge, unexpected plot twist, but I like your ending, too.
The problem with this game is that towers need experience to level up, and since all the towers up front would get the experience, the moment they hit a rogue, the towers in the back wouldn't have gained enough experience in order to dish out enough damage in order to stop the rogue from stealing your gem. 3/5
