Dec. 09, 2011 Hard Badge Guide: Day 1 - Max out Trans+Engine+Tires and spend the rest on fuel. Hold down the Gas. Only take your foot off the accelerator if you're going to be off the ground for more than about half a second. Try and keep your wheels parallel to the ground. You should get around 730 ft. Day 2 - Max out fuel, get the autogun and as much ammunition as you can afford. Do the same as before. When you reach the final hill, it's broken into three slopes. You should be able to get part way up the third. If not, restart and try again. Day 3 - Put everything into Boost. Do the same as the previous day, and when you hit the the third slope of the hill, hold boost and fly over the barrels. Don't bother voting up, just repost. Credit for this goes to razzfallow, this is how I got the hard badge. May take a few triies.
Should have a higher rating for making a "CATAPULT"/"FLIGHT" game more interactive than most others. Also has decent music. Only recommendations are hotkeys, save feature, end run button, and speed up button for long flights. (4/5)
I take that back. The boss isn't impossible. All you do is throw your flame at it rapidly from the moment it enters the screen, not the light, and recharge your flame to full after each time you hit it. Beat the boss and that is game. You can literally beat this game in under 10 seconds. Again, this is a 2/5.
Boss is impossible to beat. Your flame goes out too fast. Lack of options. (2/5) You get 1 point for doing something different but everything else is bad.
I hit the geek, then decided to go to the bathroom, and get some food. I come back and the geek is still going. This a game where you can click once and walk away for a few minutes.
@paul260386 ...I kinda agree. I just beat the game and I was expecting something more of a fight. I literally beat it before wave 20 and I think I saw maybe one enemy enter the screen through that whole time. Still the ending was pretty cool. This game is nothing less than a 5/5 for me and I'll continue to play it. This game has endless replayability and is easily the best tower defense game ever.
For everyone that thinks they lost their save: -(1)- Make sure that when you play, you’ve connected to Kong. There should be a green plug next to your name in the top right (above the chat/achievements panel), not a red one. -(2)- Turn off private browsing/incognito mode. Make sure you have programs like CCleaner turned off, as well as any program that clears cookies upon closing. -(3)- Set local storage for "chat.kongregate.com" to unlimited. -(4)- Look for a file called “giabgclsavedata.sol” on your computer. If this file does not exist anywhere on your computer, then you indeed lost your save file and will have to start over again. If you do find it, copy the file and save it someplace safe like your desktop or flashdrive. To get this to work on Kong, paste the file in the NEWEST "chat.kongregate.com" folder. That save file works on all sites with Gemcraft Labyrinthe by just posting it in the folder connected to that site and you can also use it on other computers.
@calvindang That stinks. I noticed when I lost on wave 14 I only got .70x on a much later map but still made over 100,000xp...... @captingray & @greeny1993 I thought I lost my save too. It turned out that this game started a new folder for cookies and stopped recognizing the old folder. The old folder was labeled "KX7EZRKE", the new one is "H5CHKEKL". I just copied everything from the old into the new and my save file showed up. I was worried too cause I had like a dozen hours on that save. If you check the forums tab, it should be the first discussion that gives you what you need to know about savefiles. I recommend copying the folder when your done playing to your desktop or flashdrive.
Started about 2 hours ago at level 50. Now I'm level 98! I went back to the first few maps and set everything to the highest multiplier in the battle setting getting it up to 61x! I only made it to wave 30 and got 80,000xp on average! Even if you die on the first wave, you'll probably break your previous record.
I have played many dozens of Tower Defense games but this is by far the best one. I've played the other GemCraft games but I ever get frustrated or bored too quickly. This one though is far more customizable and I think thats why I find it so addictive. (5/5 Stars) Also, for those who delete cookies, check out the forum tab on this page. You can save you're process by coping the file..."giabGclSaveData.sol". Just do a search on your computer and make sure to put the copy back in the exact same folder after you delete your cookies. This way you won't have to worry about losing your save.
I got to the first Epic Maze and thought..."Hey, since there's endless waves, I'll just sit here for awhile upgrading farther than I've ever been and gain a lot of experience." Wave 70 comes and I have nothing in the Pylon..."Okay these guys are getting tough, I'm gonna work on that Pylon now"..... But it was too late. I made it to wave 92 and lost. No experience. No amulets. Valuable lesson learned. Don't underestimate your enemies!
There is a lot of things that could been done to make this game better. I agree with everything shakedekel said but also, there should be more upgrades. Have an electrified fence that temporarily stuns all on animals on the fence but needs a few seconds to recharge. Have mines you can plant on the field. Call in airstrikes. Throw out bait to slow/gather animals. Dig trenches to slow animals. Pick different towers and place them where ever you like. Have more than one location. Better music. Have power-ups like animals drop health, rapid-fire, penetrating ammo and you need to shoot it to pick it up. That's a few ideas.
(5/5) Everything is great about this game. Very addictive and each weapon really feels unique. Only 2 things that I would change/add is the "Machine Gun Master" from 1500 kills to something more reasonable like 500 kills and add a badge for 100% completion. Still an absolutely great game though.
