5 star'd for concept, quite liked it; but practically unplayable due to memory leaks or something - huge lag every time the screen changes starting a few tiles into the Dark Forest.
also affects entering a new map, leaving a battle, moving a tile, or exiting any of the character screens :(
Insane Grunzar is basically impossible without running a zombie tank build - full Demonify, Path's End from Priest and as much block as possible with support for Renew from the Druid tree. Let all your other chars die so he can't impair and then just wait him out.
And your build will have to change for every high level boss/dungeon.
The second dungeon, you basically need to have Evergreen from the Druid tree, or you won't be able to dispel to stress debuffs or run out of mana.
Scherazade: what build are you currently using? Cassandra is quite easy as long as you have regen aura (from the druid tree) and manage your mana decently until you get to Insane and she has whirlwind. Are you dispelling her armor to berserk her?
@Scarblade: you can import. When you load up, there's an 'import from autosave' and an 'import from save code' button. If anyone needs a save code, happy to send mine.
Also, zombie tank build makes grunzar laughably easy (though a 3-5 minute grind that one has to be on the computer for) because impair doesn't target tank. Demonify + Immortality + Tooth and Nail + Divine Aegis (top of priest build) with some random damage mit/block chance talent will absolutely crush him. Uncertain if this was intended or not, but not something I particularly mind. Adds to the puzzliness that certain builds are needed for certain fights - like full renew length on the alchemist dude.
Could there be a quick explanation of what effects still occur when Demonify is active? As far as I can tell, skills like rapid shot work, but it's far too difficult to test whether demonify'd healer's basic attack still heals tank when the luminous wand is equipped, for example.
strongly appreciate the new content in the latest update. Good fun and the mid tier dungeon is excellent for the sticky midpoint of 30-38 exp grinding.
But DANG the stuff in the bio quarter is a bitch. Feel like the level cap might need to be raised to realistically complete it - makes sense, given the suggested level, but plz, uncap soon.
I'm about 60% sure grunzar isn't possible to defeat at the moment. Even at normal lvl 45, with 2 ascensions, using either full damage spec with decent equips or full priest spec to maximize the effect of flash/radiant heal, there's just no way i can heal all my guys before he gets above the use-impair-again-threshold.
Every time I get him to whatever the threshold, he uses impair again, and I heal up my guys, I might stop him healing at 90% - but when I get him back down to 65ish percent, he uses impair again and i'm back to where i started.
So I started grinding a bit and found my characters started disappearing. Which was all well and good, save that my strategy was a full-personality build with a massive army. Why? How do I avoid the game doing this?
usually a save and refresh solves this.
