Some balance issues aside, this is a pretty all right game. Flying enemies are ridiculously difficult to kill, and the boss has too much health, auto-teleports after every attack, and hits like a Mack truck. There's also the problem with the concept in that the Demon (whatever his name is; forgot it, don't care enough to try and remember) literally just recruited and trained someone to kill people significantly stronger than he is (I mean, otherwise, he would have just killed Hades and taken the crown for himself).
On several occasions, I replayed the Bear fight just to let him beat Evil Potato cause I'd rather he was the hero of a second game than killed off in this one :P
If elementary chaos theory stops being a thing and I can reliably determine whether removing an orb from underneath a wild card will actuall cause the wild card to drop instead of every orb around it, I might rate this game higher than 2*. Until then, there are other (better) color-matching games.
Why does Maji drop gems when you immediately disintegrate upon killing him? I assume it has something to do with the "true evil" the annoying pixie was talking about, but since you can't get past Maji's boss room, it's pointless. The bosses, Maji included, are just insipid. They aren't difficult. Just wander back and forth waiting for them to collapse under their own weight and then wail on them (with fireball, in my case, because magic makes the dungeon a joke unless four enemies are spawned right next to the door when you enter a room)
I think the game's math core is wonky. I haven't succeeded on a single investment with a risk factor lower than 10% (including 2 investments with supposedly 0% risk).
I wouldn't really classify this as a "game" per se, but you get 5 stars anyway for having a completely unique premise, an adorable protagonist, and a plethora of unique and fun monsters to take selfies with :P
