Great game! I do think the portal base should be a different colour though, it took me a few levels to figure out that that was where the portal would appear, and knowing where the exit is affects how you approach the puzzle.
Cool game with a great concept. If I could suggest one change it would be to make it easier to see which sacrifice choice you have highlighted. The colour change is quite subtle and I picked the wrong one a few times.
Only fault I can find is that sometimes arrows don't disappear when they hit blocks. I died in one spot because an arrow hit the other side of a block I was touching and went all the way through to my hitbox. Still giving five stars because that was the only "unfair" death, versus a hundred or so that were my fault :)
It needs a final upgrade that lets you stop collecting bits. The white cloud following me around in the later levels made it hard to see a lot of the time.
I know this game is 10 years old so not much hope of an update, but it would be much faster if you could "shade" pieces once you were sure of their position.
Five stars, but one tiny thing: There's no point in jumping the player back to the first level upon completion. Most people aren't going to want to go again.
Quite fun, although it lagged occasionally on my 2017 MacBook Air, which is surprising since the physics are quite simple. On one or two occasions the lag even caused hooks to pass through the blocks they were supposed to grab! Luckily not a big deal since there's a reset button and the levels only take a minute to complete once you've figured them out anyway.
If you find the cube escape games lag for you, just click the cog symbol and set quality to "low". It looks almost exactly the same but the lag vanishes.
