Heh, that was fun for a while. Nice idea. :)
It's somewhat annoying when multiple shapes come at you - at the same location. That messes up the thinking part and almost always results in garbage.
Reminds me of N. Same sort of obstacles and a vaguely similar gameplay, minus the slick controls and style of N.
Nice idea, but the slippery movement does feel like an awkward choice.
Only after level 5 I had to actually aim. The setting and sound are all good and well, but the gameplay is too shallow. The game lacks feedback, too: there's no sign of how far the wave is or how much damage you've taken.
It's hard to tell which politicians are yours - the small colored underline totally blends with the background so that doesn't quite work out as intended.
And while the concept looks interesting, the game is pretty much bare-bone, with no statistics visible about how you're doing or how much time you have left. With some more polishment, it might become a funny game, but it's not quite there yet imho.
Nice idea and style, and yeah, it does keep you playing for a while, but the animations are too slow, which distracts from the game.
Also, I don't associate bouncing rubber balls with 'weight'. Heavy clunky metal balls would fit better here, I think.
Visually it's nice-ish, but the style isn't really consistent and the game plays quite boring. Overall, too much attention paid to the visuals and too little to the actual gameplay.
A funny idea, with some solid gameplay. Too bad that the level loading sometimes messes up: there's no time-limit set to it, nor a cancel or retry button, so sometimes you're waiting quite a while before enough articles are loaded.
I quit after one turn - it's too slow and lacks any form of hotkeys (0 - 9 for the items, for example) - which would be an almost necessary addition here to avoid a clickfest. Also, the field is intimidatingly large and 50 turns (each one involving a lot of clicking) sound just too much to me.
On the plus side, the game does look nice.
I think it's a pretty good game - it's obviously well-polished and stylish. It's a bit too slow-paced for my taste though: long levels, little variation, slow movement speed. About the level length: perhaps a progress indicator can make them feel less long.
Plays way too slow, which is annoying given the number of replays are needed for each level. The unpredictable (and seemingly unlogical) nature of the game makes it more frustrating than fun. For example, the suddenly disappearing tiles that can't be avoided, or the invisible door-switches - how are we supposed to do any planning ahead without some clues? Trial-and-error isn't what makes such games fun to me, rewarding smart thinking and planning ahead is.
Heh, quite a funny combination. I like how you used piercing projectiles. The ice towers on the other hand sounded like they'd complicate the defense more than help it, so I never used them. The game is too easy (at least for people with some TD experience) - I finished it on my first run.
Nonetheless, it's funny. :)
I think it's ok, but the interface could use some more thought (adding responses is somewhat tedious and doesn't appear to work correctly). The game could use some more functionality too, like what sentences to display when a wrong command was given, instead of default ones (fun touch though ;)) and an option to store variabeles (has collected key, etc.).
Weapon changing is deadly. Since you've got to reload that new weapon (which, in some cases, takes ages), you're already dead once you can start using it. And yeah, a pause button!
