"Removed the focus on 'no grinding'" then literally the the first thing said after the controls in instructions "There is no need to grind.
I think you have no clue on what counts as focus. This is one of those games were the difference between 1 star and a higher score is a thin line, but in the end, the fact that people posted and complained about your saying no need to grind, then followed by you saying you took the emphasis off there being no need to grind, with still having the first part of the paragraph under Instructions say: "There is no need to grind" made my choice of 1 star easy. I actually enjoyed this game, and it makes me sad I couldn't give it a 4 or a 5 star rating. I hope you make a sequel and don't make the mistake of misleading/lying to the people playing your game.
I am tired of losing DPS for no reason. at first I thought it might be because when I upgraded a character they lost their stacks, or stacks related to them being applied to other characters were being lost. This notion very quickly disappeared when when twice in a row, the Cattie-brie only run run dropped my dps when leveling cattie up to the next upg.
This seems really fishy, almost purposefully designed to slow down, if not hinder out right the progress being made. I am very quickly losing interest in this game, as the further I get, the less it feels that micro-transactions are optional, and more required to progress. Whats worse Is I have recommended this game to friends, and now I feel pressured to warn them to find something else to play, which is a real shame.
Thanks for the flag. If you haven't already done so, please put in a support ticket using the Help and Support button above the game, with details about your DPS change, so it can help the team with where to look. Otherwise, if you're struggling to complete an adventure, then you can do a lot of free plays to build up favor so you can purchase blessings, and to gain gems to spend on chests to help gear up the base champions.
I love Idle games and I have always loved paddle games, like Arkanoid and many other great games, I really really wanted to like this. the concept is great, but I'll be damned if I can keep my eyes open, I feel like it would be impossible to make the beginning of this particular game any slower. Painfully, achingly, mind-Numbingly slow, beyond comparison.
Fairly fun game, but I feel a few things need tweaking, the sniper balls definitely are OP for their cost, they feel more like they belong in a higher cost tier, where as the poison ball feels kind of lost in the mix.
Maybe swap the two as far us cost, and introduce some bricks later on in the game (like white bricks) that cannot be broken unless they are poisoned (have them spawn randomly or something like midbosses or something)
Another thing this needs is the ability to turn on and off the info windows that appear, at later points the green window depicting the level and bonus gain, never leaves the screen, and the fact window is pretty much the same by that point. Maybe put an option in the settings to deactivate them.
There are a few other things that I think could be tweaked, but they are less important all things considered, the the ones mentioned could definitely be looked at to improve the overall length, and playfeel of the game.
Good job so far though!
how is it this game has more cpu and memory usage while active on screen than most triple A games in I play in steam?None of the other idle/clicker games come even close to the cpu and mem usage of this game.
It would be nice to see a passive, that extends, or speeds up warp speed. Once you get pretty far in, the warp feels like it takes forever. an incremental warp increase or extension would be a fine addition.
This game might be the most micro-transaction filled p2w game on the entire kong website. It's almost inconceivable how many ways they have in this game to give them your money.
So far I like it, my only issue at this point, is the second boss, I have beaten him, but I must say it was very tedious. and tedious is never a good thing in a game. He couldnt kill my heroes, and my heroes could not kill him, even with intervention and clicking at just the right times, it took me nearly thirty minutes to kill him, with his seemingly ridiculous eating habits. It shouldnt have taken thirty minutes, he should have killed me letting me know to get more powerful, or I should have been able to kill him, his infinite fast paced never ending eating and healing needs a bit of a nerf in my opinion. I sincerely hope this mechanic doesnt pop up in later bosses, would be a large buzzkill for me.
Decided to RESET and erase all data, due to scrying just not working anymore, it used to work, but now half the videos wont play, and the other half play and never provide me with an award, up to this point 5 stars, gave it 1 star after resetting everything for the my time being wasted. (also just to state, I made no changed to any thing and am not running any form of blockers on kongregate) So sad.
giving up on this till I can scry again, before today I would get multiple different videos that I could see, now i get a 7 second long clip of blackness no vid no sound and the game wont let me scry., i have changed nothing since last time playing
the only major issue I see with is is that while im aiming my mouse over the soldiers that its too easy to "out of bounds" just a thought you might drop the edge of that barrier.
I'm sure this kind of "Game" is fun for some, but to me, having to wait for 8 hours for 30 seconds of game play followed by another 8 hours of waiting, is total poppycock, bordering on horseshit. No offense to the developer ((Continued in second post)), I know you need to make your money in some fashion. but lets be fair, there are plenty of other developers who make their gains from ads, and ad placement, actively making the game playable without having to have money thrown at them directly for minimal rewards by the players themselves. Doing the math, to get 560 favor points, would take 1000 kreds, which costs 100 dollars. Again I say no offense, but this game isn't worth nearly that, or any of the other costs involved, including time wasted. 0/5 for originality, this is a direct rip off of multiple Facebook games. (which i might add, is cheaper to buy the upgrades for, if I was so inclined, and far better quality)
I've never taken a personal issue with any game that features a pay to win attitude, its a market that exists, and there is a niche of people who are willing to do so. That being said a pay to play game (not buy to win, totally different type of game) has never appealed to me, nor do I understand the want of people do play it. Went into the family for high energy, within five minutes of playing hit the energy barrier after leveling up nothing but energy, thusly had to use favor points. Five minutes later favor points gone, energy barrier again hit, with leveling nothing but energy. Now I'm apparently expected to buy kreds, or favor points, just to play unless I am willing to "Play" a game by waiting for my energy to refill... over the next 8 hours. (Continued in second post)
