Stupid trick: Use drain traps and oiling until you have effectively limitless mana (this isn't hard once you have enough drain traps laid down). Leave a set of thieves at the entrance. Once the enemies are in range, use Slow enough times to make them stationary. If they have high armor, the thieves low damage means they can keep hitting them for one gold for a long or maybe infinite time. Combined with Rage you can increase their speed. This is limited mostly by your willingness to keep hitting slow forever. I got bored.

Is level 7 actually possible to beat?

I'd love a less clunky way to scroll horizontal menus than click and drag (build/upgrade towers, claim rewards, blueprints, skills -- the horizontal scrolling is terrible). Keyboard arrow keys would be nice, but even a scroll bar would help. Or a more compact view.

Last update gave me a "There was an error loading the building data.", and set most buildings to 0.
Developer Reply
Refresh -- if it autosaved the lost buildings, PM me your save and what you lost.
It would be nice to see the distance on the dungeon details page. I can't think of any game-imbalancing reason not to do it.

Is the Hairy Style Bolla supposed to look like Donald Trump? (I mean the face, not the tutu and lightning bolts.)

How to use "Sell" from a Mac: Use Fn-Delete, which sends the equivalent of the delete key on a PC.

If you beat Anubis while the Mysterious Mage is in the base, you still get the option to reset your resets. You have to wait for him to go away and come back again to get the option to reset.

@superstan1996: Those enchantments drop earlier in the game than most things you can actually use them on. That's especially true for buffs; you don't start getting them until relatively late. Unless you desperately need the resources, I'd hoard them until you can use them, at which point you will have more than you can use.
Blood swords: Yes, those stack. Additively, I think. So eight would give you 16%. I think. If you follow the link to the Reddit, there are some good faqs and loot tables.
Essence of rage: You need to have ten in your inventory, then use the burnt-out seal in the Chamber of the Sealer (raid 7). That sets the burnt out seal into a burning one. Until I actually got to that raid, I had just assumed the Sealer referred to someone who clubbed baby seals, and the chamber would be nautical-themed. But the seal is actually just a sword, and not a marine mammal that you can also equip as a weapon. I was confused.

Just to follow up on that, he eventually heals goes back to 10,000, but I don't know what triggers that. But I think damage can persist between raids, under the right circumstances? Anyway I'm not sure why AOE damages gets him but all the monsters ignore him. I don't understand how that big lava dog can just let him go by without feeling compelled to bite him.
Confession: I've been trying to figure out how to kill the loot guy (Resterance? Resference? I wish there were a way to see NPCs' names after you get access to them.) Anyway, I noticed by accident that if you click on him during a raid, he has 10,000 HP. I've found that if I leave an item at the end of the Burning Cave raid and then rapidly switch to another raid, before he can enter the map, it will stay until the next time. And if I wait until the raid resets, I can get him to walk through AOE effects and take damage. So far I've gotten him down to the 3k range. Has anyone managed to kill him? (Disclaimer: I actually like him and don't want to have to click on loot on my own. I just saw he had hit points, so this seemed like the logical thing to do.)

There should probably be some warning that the speed puzzles are impossible on some touchpads.

Having played wayyy too much of the first two games in this series, I am thrilled to see a third. The Sci-Fi theme is a totally unexpected change, although otherwise it's very consistent in feel. The thing that makes me sad about this is the same thing I had a problem with on SFD 2 -- in the freeplay mode, you still have the same set waves, and they are finite. I really liked the infinite waves of SFD 1. I also feel like the difficulty has been turned down a little from SFD 2. Not by a lot, and there were still a few puzzles of how to have the right tower at the right time. On the plus side, this is the first in the series where the "delete" function has actually worked with any browser I tried. This was lucky since there were some levels I don't know how to beat without selling to move or swap out towers.

I wondered what the lowest rated game on Kongregate was. I feel like I have had the full experience. It could be worse, actually. This one is at least funny.

I can't get out of the build tower cursor mode. I can't double-click on anything. There really needs to be a "no really, I mean it, cancel whatever I'm doing and take me up a mode" key. The game _looks_ really cool. I look forward to being able to actually play it some day!

The pop-up is annoying, but the game also pretty much requires a mouse. I'm just not fast enough with a trackpad.

This was a nice change from the common fantasy-themed tower defense games. The gameplay had nothing novel at all that I noticed -- the distinction here was mostly the art. Good for the developer for trying something different, though!
