Screen gets cluttered very quickly. I probably just suck at the game but it's a little hard to focus on both staying alive and the various stages of crystal decomposition. I do like the idea of the crystals changing what they do over time, though.
What kind of an excuse for collision detection is this? If you're going to use the bounding boxes around the sprites to act as the collision masks, you should at least make this clear with some sort of outline! Things are colliding when they don't appear to do so, and sometimes even when things are overlapping it doesn't register.
I'm not entirely sure it's a good idea to encourage the use of resources you don't own for profit. I'm not talking about APIs. I'm talking about ripping sprites from commercial games that you don't have the licensing rights to use. I mean, wouldn't that theoretically give the companies that own said art grounds for litigation? I don't think fair use covers commercial redistribution.
This is a public portal for games that should adhere to decent standards, hence why the rating system is in place. I'm sorry, but this doesn't stack up too well when compared against over games. Maybe after some practice, you'll be making much better games than this. I recommend looking for some AS2 or AS3 tutorials online.
I love this game. Everything about it. The feel, the way it works. Simple enough to pick up quickly yet still with enough depth to keep you hooked. And it doesn't drag on forever. The ending is also pretty awesome.
It's okay, but it wears its inspiration on its sleeve. It's so similar to flOw it starts feeling less "inspired by" and more like an attempt to emulate it with a few differences. Unfortunately, in comparison to flOw this lacks the full originality that flOw had upon release, with the extra features feeling tacked on the coding seeming sloppy, especially with the end-tail parts on most creatures. This game could have been so much more than it is.
Y'know, I really can't see why you've posted several games over and over. The conventional approach of updating a game on here, especially if it's a minor change such as graphics, and not a total rehaul, is to update the existing game and to make a note of it in the description. At the moment all you're doing is rehashing an unfinished product and getting points unfairly.
This site isn't Newgrounds. This is Kongregate. This is a site to post games and games alone. I'm sorry, but this is completely the wrong type of site to submit a flash profile to. Maybe as an extra attached to a game, but not as a stand alone thing.
The concept is excellent but the execution feels somewhat lacking. The preloader could do with some fixing and the graphics are far from polished, but you look like you know what you're doing and I expect good things from you in the future. :D
