Huh. Just got my 25th "Tax+" completion. The Achievement says "Unlock a nice trinket somewhere..."
If that happened, I can't find it. Is it a reward that I won't get until I unlock Talismans??
Great replay value. In many ways better than the sequel, except for having to unassign and reassign defenders every day.
I keep coming back, trying to get that elusive Hard achievement. One of these years...
Really good game, except for the lack of any way to save your progress.
Any time I come back to play the game again, I have to redo the tutorial and play all the easy levels before I can get to the challenging ones.
The Prestige progression seems too slow, now.
After 16 prestiges, I've got the starting "speed" down from 2500 to 2200. Most of the time of each prestige is spent getting that stat down to 110.
If the chain of Damage upgrades let us boost to 6, at least we could start out killing the snakes for +3/attack instead of the bat's +2/attack speed upgrades at the start, but the three available damage boosts only get us up to 4.
Huh. I got the Medium achievement by completing the hard double-win ending, but didn't get the Easy achievement. Do I need all three endings for that one?
Level 1, first impressions: I reloaded twice because I thought the blank black screen was a mistake. Then I checked the Game Instructions for the control keys and realized I could make little puffs of white sparks by pressing keys. Then I figured out I was moving blindly through a maze I couldn't see. Found a strip of light blue light at the right edge of the maze. Jumped on it. Still no flashlight or any idea what I'm supposed to do. Moved around some more at random. A second strip of blue light appeared.
*shrug*
The idea sounded interesting...
Argh. Good game -- but really, really needs a "low quality" mode, to be kind to laptops and older computers. Lags hard in the bigger battles.
Just got to one battle shy of the first Hard achievement and it crashed -- website reloaded because it's using too much memory. And it lost my saves.
Every time I close my browser, I lose all my game records. My Kongregate achievements stay, it's just the record of all the heroes I've lost, and my handful of completions.
In the PVP, when I lose, it would be great to be able to see the stats on the fleet that beat me -- what upgrade level his ships were, which equipment they were using, and so on. There's no real way to "learn from our defeats" in this game, the way there usually is in an asynchronous PVP game.
Hi. Thanks for this feedback, unfortunately, I won't expose this information. I know this something can be frustrating, but I think that players can deduce e improve via trial and error, the "friend battle" is there also for this reason. Try looking at the chat, a lot of people are actively exchanging information and tips. Maybe in the future when there will be more upgrades and units equipment i'll also add this informations.
Is there any way to see what the AI does on its turn? It's really hard to figure out why I'm losing sometimes. I can sometimes guess (like the AI must have played Malediction followed by a bunch of skull-producing draws and a bunch of embargoes...) but it would be nice to actually see what happened so I can learn from it.
