2/5 unfortunately. Good game concept, but buggy. It's not really an idle game if ingame revenues are only 15 minutes or so, even when coming back after 4 hours.
Unity apparently soon will be unplayable on Chrome. Oh well, Adventure Capitalist was fun enough for a while. Not gonna install another browser just for Unity though :)
PS, do other people also have unskippable commercials when loading the game since today? 30 seconds of waiting just to buy a lemonade stand is a bit too much :)
Great game. Some strategy advice: Level up regularly once you get PPI's. You will find yourself beyond your old level in no-time. Also, once in mid-stage 3, focus solely on scouts. These are by far the most cost-effective at this point and it will save you a lot of time.
When pressing the continue button after getting an achievement/level up, you sometimes immediately get another popup asking you to spend Kreds or Bloonstones. The accept button appears at exactly the same place where you just clicked away the last message, so if you're not careful you could unintended be spending real money/rare points.
The game is fun, but this mechanic, together with countless messages trying to get you to spend these points otherwise, are to aggressive a promotion for my liking. Therefor I rate this game 1/5.
Since my previous question got downvoted a lot, even though it was only a question (strange :s) again: An angel investor takes slightly more money than the previous one. Is it therefor wise to purchase upgrades with angel investors? There is indeed a huge albeit temporary benefit but in the end with the same revenues after a soft reset you have less investors. Anyone know what's best here?
Why should I spend angels on a benefit that lasts one run (or do they last more runs?). Next run will be more difficult because you have less angels and to get the same number back is more difficult with each one.
Google signals malware is detected when I press start. I'm not going to try this game. Could very well be the system which the game uses for you to purchase units. 1/5
Never mind. You'll just have to break him in the turn he'll get below 990.000. This will allow your teammates to damage him so he'll get far enough below the 990.000 that you can subvert him the next turn without your teammates being able to get him above 990.000 again.
Great tips by Draxifiel, however can anyone help me with this part of his strategy: It seems impossible to subvert the third boss at the appropriate time. If you subvert him on the same turn he will get below 990.000 he won't get below 990.000 because your teammates will heal him. He then won't use his 3.000.000 heal on himself.
However it's no use waiting to use subversion until the third boss is below 990.000, because in the very same turn (because the AI only selects it's actions after your team has done theirs) that happens he'll fully heal himself.
Completed all achievements after only 51367 seconds :D
The game is well balanced between upgrade-cost increase and target-hp/distance increase.
Considering the end game I find it amazing how extreme the resourcefulness of penguins can be :o
Let's play this game again for the first time after a year....aaaand suddenly they want my email address for verification. Oh well, let's try another game.
Typical internet vomiting going on here. The comments section on this game has sadly regressed into a negative spiral of rage.
Indeed, the top (tier 7) upgrades are difficult to achieve without spending real money, however the hard badge is easily within reach for free with tier 6 and lower.
I got the badge myself myself without throuble with 2 spikey balls equipped on the arms(tier 6) and dual blast on the core(tier 4).
Granted it'll take some time and you'll have to grind some levels. However it's not supposed to be easy to get a hard badge, and I had a lot of fun destroying hundreds of thousands of bloons on the way.
I love the game. Really addictive. It's very satisfying to interweave landing and departing planes succesfully.
A suggestion: When a plane has already slowed down to taxi-speed on the runway and you ask it to expedite, it shouldn't drive itself full speed into another plane that has also also just slowed down on the runway while it had previously clearly braked for that same plane.
Since I'm judging this game and not the good sequel (which includes radar :) ) I'm inclined to give this game a 3/5. The basic mechanics are ok, however the pure randomness makes completing this game not so much a matter of skill but a matter of luck.
