I really like your game but I'm sick of having to refresh every time I die. If this issue wasn't there then I'd probably have played your game to death but unfortunately this bug means that a lot of people aren't going to play to the end and see the full extent of all your hard work :(
I still come back to play this after all this time. If you made a meaty Android version of this with more play modes I would pay about €4 for this. It's just so good. Look at the sucess of that 1000000 (or whatever amount of 0s game). This is much more fun.
Simple but fun. I agree that a lot of it is actually memorising the man's movements, and that's a shame. But I'm delighted to see such a unique game. I'll never look at those fatal pointed pitfalls the same way again. 3/5
First up, this game has a great idea at its core, even if it is very similar to Haunt the House by SuperFlashBros. The humour in the dialogue is refreshing and genuinely made me smile at times. Very original, I look forward to future games. The idea of possessing people to kill others is great but there are a few things letting the game down. 1) There isn't any reaction from other people. This ruins the game's atmosphere. People should try to defend themselves or at least run away, instead of taking a clobbering. Little interactions between characters would've been nice and I couldn't believe the security let me kill people or a burglar in the bank! (2) The graphical style isn't perfect. I think the levels look a little bland and samey. It loses a lot of its charm when you see the blown-up, pixelly faces talking.. maybe others think it's okay but I don't find it charming, I think a talented developer can do a lot better (3) The sounds get very repetitive after a while.
Thanks for the feedback! The reason the characters have no reactions is just that we only had a month to develop the game, so we just didn't get around to putting that in. We'll probably address the issue in a future update or sequel.
It's a really great, original game that you can come back to again and again. It doesn't rely on flashy graphics or any gimmicks - a definite 5/5 :) Although I do wish the "grip" of the character running around was a little better. It's frustrating to be forced to run into your shots to avoid falling into the spikes, but end up beneath falling stacks because you continue running :/ I think it would be a little better with tighter traction, and the gameplay wouldn't be any less fun.
If we're ever lucky enough to get a sequel please change the colour of the background clouds on the cloud level, they look like actual platforms at times
I like it when a developer listens to the criticisms of a past game and works to improve it. It shows a passion and commitment. This is basically the same game with a different skin, with all the major flaws of before. Combinations are completely random. If it went through a decent test period with a few people then better combinations could be created. Some don't make sense- when you HAVE to use a walkthrough that isn't a sign of a good "difficult" game. It's a sign of poor development. I wasn't as critical on the first - but I have to ask, did you even read the comments from the last? 2/5
I want to see my rocket smash and explode in a burning fireball of death, not some statistics screen... :) My favourite intro to a game so far too, nice and uncomplicated! 3.5/5
I can't understand how week after week another tower defense game is released but when something special like this (admittedly a little unrefined) comes along it just goes ignored. 5/5, this developer's got some serious potential. Keep it up!
