Ya' know, as I finished this game, I kept thinking what it would be like to be one of the gladiators later in life, trying to get another job. "Well, you worked for the Sun King for a while, and we all know how that turned out... We're worried you may have some curses following you around... Wait, on your list of credentials, is this 'Killed Death'?"
This is a game where you press the same two buttons over and over, unless you want it to end faster, in which case you press different buttons at most nine times(max amount of upgrades). ?...
Too easy, only one shot. If this had a bunch of levels and was a bit more randomized, I think I'd like it as a time-waster. I kind of figured the rocks would get progressively smaller.... but instead, they didn't progress at all.
It was an adorable game, and I love the graphics and music, but it really leaves something to be desired. There really wasn't a challenge to it; there were circles around the things you needed to click and usually there were only two or three you had to click in the right order. I liked the beginning as an intro into the game, figuring out the code, just a simple little puzzle, but after that, there weren't really any puzzles at all. The only challenge was figuring out what was going on.
Despite that, I still liked the game. It was fun to see what the robot did and the graphics are next to perfect. It was a nice, short little thing.
It's satisfying, it introduces the game well, the buttons are so amazingly simple I was wondering if I was missing something for a moment there. No instructions, no explanations, just get in there. I also like the feeling of having two different worlds, having this little guy trying desperately to reach the end and the outer version, trying to get him there. He has about as much personality as a stick figure who doesn't talk or do anything but run and jump in a black and white world can have. I LOVE this game and EVERYTHING about it! It's an utter MASTERPIECE in its genre!!!
