Uhm, I just checked the inbox telling me there was an update for this game. It's been a month or so since I last played it: Had all the upgrades bought with gems, all the achievements, about 600 gems saved. When I logged, most of my upgrades were gone, some achievements weren't completed either. I lost about 300 gems too. How can we address this?
I find this game quite amusing. I love that you implemented a couple of BGMs . I like the overall theme. However, I would like to have some achievements with either exponential % increasements on clicks/productions or diamons to spend on upgrades/unlockeables. I have also noticed that the 3 buffs you activate by filling the bar get their time added on top of the remaining time instead of just refreshing it. Is that working as intended?
Achievements are coming soon- They should speed up the early game too!
Having the times stack on the buffs is intentional. I didn't want anyone to get gypped if they activated one twice rapidly.
Same issues with my Chrome, guys. I got this badge time ago and logged to get my badge of the day. I can't load either the chat or the badges. Then I used Mozilla Firefox connected normally and got the badge no problem. But I'm experiencing this with most of the games, actually.
I don't know if this was mentioned before but, there's almost no benefit on upgrading your attack power with green gems above level 7. Each gem gives you 4% of DPS, whereas the upgrade gives you a fixed 25% (24%?), for example if you spend 10 gems, you lose 40%+ DPS in exhange of 25% (15% DPS loss). You also lose defense, HP and MP regen. I have tested on my Paladin: I exported my game before anything. Had 6T DPS on it, spent it all on gems and dropped to 3T. So yeah, that needs some tweaks. If you want a recommendation, I would make it so gems give you way more DPS than the passive effect. Also, instead of scalate its price (on DPS at least), make it so it's a fixed price too. Example: If 1 GREEN GEM gives you 4% (passively), buying the upgrade that costs 1 GEM (always) gives you 8% DPS. You double the DPS benefit from gems by sacrificing DEF and REGEN, but then it's worth buying. Right now it's not.
Is the MP regen formula working for Priest? The ugprade states, at my current state, that it should increase by +252. However, when I buy said upgrade, it only increases by +12. Whereas, in my warrior, the upgrade says +2 and it gets increased by +2 no problem.
I can see a lot of potential here. However, I'd like to have a choice when I make my character, for example: Being able to select between male/female and hair dyes. Other than that, as other have stated, being able to change jobs would be TRULY amazing. Some of us are RO fans, so we'll welcome your IDLE game here with open arms.
Excellent job as usual. If people don't know yet, there's a Rusty Lake Hotel on Steam for almost 2 bucks (at least on my Country). Obviously developed by them. It's really good if you want to give it a try.
Without promotions, I gotta work for almost 24 hours a day during 24 days straight to buy this girl a drink, while she's not my girlfriend still. JESUS CHRIST. .-. I'm afraid of the wedding system now...
I think the cost of the upgrades in the Fury Tree escalates too quickly, considering that you need 600 points to fully upgrade it. Right now, it costs me 9k perk points to upgrade the fury-level 1 from rank 5 to rank 6. Is this working as intended?
Looks promising. PLEASE!!! PLEASE!!!!! don't do like other idle game devs and abandon the project for a new one when things are becoming interesting!!! I've seen a lots of devs doing that. It's super annoying. Now, for the game itself... Suggestions:
Promotion system. When they reach X level + a rare item drop from raids/farm maps and/or getting certain achievement/paying X amount of gold/exp, the adventurers can be upgraded. Example: Soldier -> Knight -> Paladin, modifiying their stats in consequence. You can make it so you have alternate paths for advancement, to add up some variety but respecting the core roles (healer, tank, DPS). Since there's no turning back, unless you introduce a "veteran system", you can include a super rare item again, from drops or vendor, that allows you to reset your class.
I don't thing shooting is that strong but the cocaine is way too low and really expensive. You gotta buy a lot of Cocaine and yet you can't get as much money as you get with shooting, which money/sec looks fine to me.
