The hard reset was a bit.. hard to do, but I managed it, even though I was a bit sad about all my progress. New game, here I come. One thing I noticed: The help section still says that you need to be careful about spending Quantum Foam since it will decrease you production multiplier. However, this doesn't seem to be case anymore, the multiplier is applied for your all time Quantum Foam count. Keep on merging, keep on updating the game! But please, no more hard resets :(
Cool game, definitely better than the last one, which was a little to passive in my opinion. This one is also a tad grindy like the other. One would wish for more options that simple upgrades by money and stars to combat this.
You can also see that it's mobile first ("tap" here..), which doesn't hurt this game much, except that shortcuts (1, 2, 3, 4) for the special abilities would be very much appreciated.
All in all, solid game and good time waster for half an hour. 4/5
Chance to spawn 2 Mergers ends at 47% for me. It says "47% => 47%", I can still spend Isotopes, and the price increases after I buy. I'm now at "Double Spawn 56" before I noticed. Is this just a visual bug? I can't tell the difference between 47% and 56%, so I'm not sure if it just displays the wrong number or if the chance actually stays at 47%.
Also, one more thing: Matter Boost from 5 to 6 (for example) gives me a boost from 160% to 257% for 163 Quantum Foam. That means I'd get 97% production boost for 163 QF, whereas 1 QF = 1% production boost, meaning if I'd just keep the 163 QF, I'd get 163% production boost instead of 97%. Or am I understanding something wrong here? Is there any scenario where I'd buy this?
Neat idea for an idle game, probably still needs some features and fine tuning. Max amount of objects seems really useless right now. Maybe I am playing it wrong, but I hardly get up to 10 objects on the screen at the same time. Could happen in really late game when spawn time gets low but the pro speed Prestige upgrade seems to counteract that. Nevertheless, the max object upgrade feels unproportional. Maybe give us something else or make it so that the upgrade makes more sense.
After the fight with the other knight on the two square boards, I cross the "bridge" and end up on the upper board which looks a bit like a hard and can't move anywhere else except back. Am I missing something? Didn't something trigger correctly? I'm pretty sure I beat every enemy along the way..
Cool idea but's gets boring pretty fast since it's very linear and you're limited so hard by the amount of cards you play. Also bug: If you reload the game the prices for People reset and you can buy one for their initial price of the first upgrade (which is basically nothing in late game).
Nice game, good concept, would love to see more. A little more precision would be great, as others said, though. Controls don't feel as tight as they should. Also: Press jump to do a small jump, hold down to jump higher. This would be really important for a feeling of more control, since to make the smaller jumps right now you need to bang your head on the ceiling. Plus air control while jumping and tuning down the falling speed a little.
Love it, with the new control scheme its really great. Only thing that really needs dire improvement is the wall jump. Maybe I am not getting it right but it feels really wonky and climbing chimneys mostly works but it doesn't feel good and sometimes you just fall down. Also, would've loved to get all upgrades and stats until the end but I was never given the chance to grind or anything. Maybe I could have gone back to a previous level but doing everything in there again wasn't very appealing. Maybe have an arena - like the one in the second (?) level - you can visit anytime and grind for some gold. I could never open those ice switches because I didn't have the fire shot at this point. But otherwise great, keep on doing this, looking forward to the next installment!
That is one unique and creative idle game if I ever saw one. It's a bit light on gameplay but the idea itself and the execution is really cool. Don't get discouraged by all the critical and negative comments, although they do have a point: The game needs a mute button. And the problem with the slower ants in the end needs to be solved. But simply getting rid of the black and/or red ants wouldn't do, since it would slow down the overall progress of the larger paintings. More useful would be to let us upgrade them or give them speed multipliers from another source. There is much potential for to expand on gameplay ideas here, but the base is very solid and more interesting than many other idle games. Keep going!
Oh and one more thing: EXP doesn't vanish and floats to you directly after beating the level or dying (this was an update you made after reading the comments). This is fine, however, this also means that the magnet upgrade is completly useless now, since gold is automatically collected when killing a zombie.
I played with recent updates. It's not a fresh concept but works well in browser games. Graphics are neat and upgrading stuff while shooting zombies is nice. Some things I noticed:
1) Aiming is off - implement a crosshair or laserpointer, the character doesn't shoot in the direction of your mouse.
2) Too grindy - Needs a little fine tuning.
3) Hitbox - enemies start to hit and when you are a few meters away close out the animation and still hit you.
4) Flamethrower - You can shoot through barriers and shields which seems okay, but this way you can cheese the lvl 10 Boss if you the barrels between him and you because he won't move around them.
4) Dodge - needs a lower cooldown.
5) Variety - The "get stronger" stuff is neccessary, but the creative stuff is cool. How about grenades? Or a dash move that damages all in its path?
Hope you don't mind me being so critical, still enjoyed the game and I always welcome a change to all those idle games flooding the site.
All in all nice idle game with good progress but it gets very drawn out after prestiging for a few times because you're jus waiting for your expansions to be finished to buy more factories. A speed upgrade that you can buy would make things more interesting. Or something else to do in the endgame.
I mean, it's cool and all but it's basically a carbon copy of Wizard's Run (which you can find here on Kongregate). But you get one less skill tree here and less options to build your character. I have nothing against games that draw inspiration from others but at least you should improve on the concept, not simply repeat it (and give it less content like this case). It's a fun and good game but not as good as Wizard's Run.
There are some kinks that need to ironed out. The controls are a bit floaty and you need to get used to it - the swinging mechanic for example. Or the one room with the blue artifact where you need to pull out the green block above to shove it into that repelling enemy. When you defeat the spider and try to climb up (which is already a bit wonky) you pull the block into the lava flow. Because of the physics engine there is this one droplet of lava that occasionally flies to the right where you need to climb to pull the block out of the lava rain. That killed me like 5 times before I realized what happened. But all in all, this is one of the best and freshest games I have seen in a long time on this site. It needs work, yeah, but I hope you keep on doing this. There are some very cool ideas I'd like to see more of. I hope you implement another special mechanic into the last artifact. Keep it up, I'll give you a 5/5 because this really sets itself apart from all those idle games here.
Thank you for the detailed feedback! Really appreciate it. I'll go ahead and stop those particles from bouncing, and look at making the swinging more responsive. The basic jumping physics is pretty much set at this point, as changing it could require many edits to level design. That said, I'll see what I can do! Thanks for the support!
Level 13, about to go try and kill the Warlock Goblin. Out of Memory exception from Unity. Needed to reload the game. Last save at level 2. Thanks bye.
My propaganda didn't work. I bought the website, had 100M max followers, went to the propaganda page again and everything reset. I was back to 50M followers. Reloaded the game, didn't save my progress. I won't start anew because I don't want to get stuck with that same bug again. Shame, though.
Erm.. after the games loads, it says I need a Kongreagte Account to play it. But I am already logged in. And the register button does nothing when I click it.
just some weird hard limits I added there instead of just setting a max level... currently on rebalancing everything so stuff like this will change
