"What price do you think would be fair?"
I haven't purchased the game yet, but I'd say $10 would be worthy for the complete game. Since it's in early access right now, and I assume it's still got some work to go, I'd say between $5 and $7 is fairer. Early access should be a bit cheaper, and I'm assuming you took that into account with a 10% discount. I've often seen games drop to 33% below, even near completion.
I mean I'll buy the game anyway since I've been a huge fan of this game since it first came out, but I do think $9 seems a bit steep for early access.
This game is really impressive. My only complaints is that the constant shifts in scenery depending on your location is a bit disorienting. Also, many of my stat ups at the end of a battle end in undefined. It's always the last few. Other than that, I think this game is pretty much perfect.
I think when I first played this game, the mechanics were too harsh and so I turned away (or I royally sucked). Came back months later, and utterly destroyed the game with 100% completion. I don't know what to do now. This game has occupied me for over a week and now there aren't anymore achievements for me to get. That having been said: this is a fantastic game which is heavily skill based with a little luck thrown in. I loved learning the patterns I needed to do to get high combos, or how I had to play defensive to run farther. Very versatile, smooth mechanics. You get my rare 5/5 stamp of approval--which is not taken lightly. Any bugs, or annoying features earns a game 1/5 from me (most).
Only people whining about difficulty are people who aren't strategizing. I beat the game with minimal difficulty in 37 minutes and minimal frustration. 5/5 for blood, gore, human mutilation, great functioning and controls, and an awesome new game.
1) Why do I need to have inertia to use the swap in the air? Why can't I swap twice in the same jump? These are restrictions simply to make a player's life more difficult. Stop player hating, player. 2) I beat level 1, reset my data, and now I have to start over, with a COMPOUNDED death count. This impossible badge is now, strictly speaking _impossible to ever get_ without erasing my cookies, which is not my obligation to play a game. It's like buying a new cartridge for a game if you want to start a new game--just no. 3) The controls are very sloppy, and I find platforms completely hidden from view. Nobody even tested this game. 4) The sad part is, this game has great potential with an old mechanic, but completely destroys the mechanic by player hating. 1/5.
Also, market your god damn game properly. This is a point and click. Not some shitty puzzle and science game. You wanna make a REAL game? Don't make shitty point and click games, even if it's in 3-D. That's like me saying I'm an awesome Mathematician for telling you 2+2 = 4. Talentless piece of shit.
Been a while since I got one of these badges without consulting a walkthrough for the tougher levels. Did it all on my own, and here is, what I'm sure, the least elegant way to get the gem for the alchemy lab, if you're interested.

PROTIP: Some people use things like last.fm or Pandora. Not everyone is into the whole pirate 50 albums or spend $500 for 50 albums kind of thing. And a game with no mute is quite deserving of a 1/5 for the simple reason that it is not that god damn hard. Buy any console game, and irrespective of the fact you can mute your TV -- each and every game has a mute button. Want to know why? It's an essential piece of functionality for ANY game, and only completely worthless developers have no clue how to implement one. If more people spoke out against necessary functionalities that developers neglect either on purpose or from negligence, maybe you'd see an overall improved quality of the games on this site. Letting them get away with essentially things sets the wheels in motion to let them get away with devastating bugs and negligence on very important aspects that the PLAYERS enjoy, not what they enjoy. And if you're very lucky, maybe undefined would stop making games.
Simple and elegant. Progression forward, with new features, but the same concept that gained you fame. Do not fix what is not broken. We need more developers like you. 5/5.
Here's the deal: if I am playing a flash game, I want a simple game that doesn't hog my processors. If I wanted to play a game like that, I'd go on Steam. 1/5.
Thanks!
