So, you've totally captured the look AND feel of the original D&D therefore i commend you on your design and execution; i'm having LOADS of fun playing your game. However, Inherent in this design is the need to be able to sell off the stuff i don't want. I understand the mechanics may not allow the possible income from this, so I suggest you make usable items exchangeable for pizza. While i would love to spend some money on your game I'm broke. My only way of supporting what you've done is to play the Fraggle out of it. If i got an itty-bitty boon from doing so... it might not increase my play time, but i'd probably play more sessions. Just sayin'. Anyways, thanks for the fun!
This game must be really awesome for people who love tedious math! I can't believe the number of times i've been close to enough calories to transport my wares to another town for barter but couldn't do it because they didn't have enough cheap food for me to buy at a weight that's low enough to get there and still avoid all the BS needed to traverse this world. There's a reason why nobody plays the original AD&D with all these f'ing numbers to keep track of or die in the desert without a camel. Almost a fun game...
I like the type of game, but it's a cheating AMF! How the heck am i supposed to defend against a repeat of the same "joker?!" Not sure how the programming works on the AI but i think it might need an adjustment.
Great game but it keeps giving me a "something went wrong with the connection" message and makes me redo the tutorial. Not a fan of games where i HAVE to do a tutorial, it makes me think you have a low opinion of my gaming capabilities. Other than that I enjoyed the game, but i won't be playing it because of this one specific issue (i can only go through the tutorial so many times.)
scrolls uncontrollably, can't see my whole screen, IE crashes, just buggy as all hell. I give up, 1/5. I gave it a chance but it's just too horrible trying to play this frustrating game.
Paintings sold, 61
Florins made, 5165
0 patrons disappointed or angered!
prestige, 98
Leo's skill, 86
AND I met all of the requirements (surpass Verrocchio, survive, and don't take a loan)
I feel my life is complete but for some reason I want more! 4/5
The AI is pretty stupid as far as target selection. I find myself frustrated because my entire force keeps focusing on the same little fighter when they're supposed to be destroying the enemy towers. Other than that a very solid game.
Definitely need the ability to tell my troops who to attack. It's horribly frustrating having one guy essentially walk through your defenses because nobody wants to attack him. Other than that one thing i had fun with it. Nice work!
I would really like to see enemy turns sped up (instantaneous) so i don't have to sit through their move on boards 11 and 12. Other than that i don't see much need for improvement. Great game!
Really guys? THIS is the top rated game of the month??! I'm sorry but i played it one time through and will likely NEVER be back. To me, there is no replay value in this game, just one and done. 1/5.
You can sell equipment around level 7.
