show moreA new presence had been detected in the land of Deltora near Dread Mountain. As the travelers walked they had almost forgot their names Lief, Barda, and Jasmine due to their exhaustion. Later as they strolled across the trail Barda thought to himself “What has become of Deltora? It has become a land of mope, and the shadow lord was to blame”. Lief caught Barda’s expression and spoke, “As long as the belt is safe save Deltors if we manage to get the seven gems to restore Deltora’s former glory”. As they carried on Lief silently looked at the gems they had gathered so far: the Sapphire, the opal, the ruby, and the topaz. Jasmine pet her two companions Kree and filli.
