Level 11 can suck a duck. The ball timer and the horrible programming on the 'air lift' section of the tunnel are frustratingly retarded. It's fine if my not being good enough is a factor in failure, but when the game screws me through bad design, it's BS.
Fantastic game. If it were only a bit longer, and had a few more intro levels to better explain the individual actions, I think more people would be able to master the seemingly difficult control scheme. (It's not really hard, just takes getting used to.)
This game was fun for about 5 minutes, then it said "F*ck learning/difficulty curves, let's ramp this b!tch up to 'Annoying as all f*ck'."
That's when I said, "F*ck you and your dumbshit badge."
Very fun retro-style game. I enjoy the upgrades and the graphics (I'm a sucker for pixels), and the twist in the story (about the first explorer) was quite interesting and original as far as I'm concerned. As for criticism, a bit on the short side and a bit easy, if you're pro like me. :P I look forward to more adventures from Dear Explorer, perhaps with more weapons and enemy types?
